Soy glad Ds is a bit brighter today, always good sign if they shave.
Maybe he will still go would be an adventure I’m sure, lol at the punch main thing is we didn’t act on our impulses!

dontcallmelen · 11/12/2018 20:09

Gin I’m not much help either, I used to take heavy duty painkillers & wear a soft but supportive bra in bed, I think it’s hormonal yy if it keeps happening see the GP.
Fudge you are not fat, the jumper looks lovely but it’s a lot of money if you don’t wear it very much.

SoyYo · 11/12/2018 20:11

And not keep polishing your Halo today cause it won’t last. Xmas Smile
I have some other Hush things to try arriving tomorrow... including a silk two tone vest, the black asymmetric Devore skirt, and a long shirt which looks like it could be useful under jumpers or by itself (it’s in the sale, hadn’t spotted it before so must be old season but I do like the style) and the blue snake print shirt too Blush
I’m not keeping anything unless I love and think will wear lots.

Ellapaella · 11/12/2018 20:16

@AFingerofFudge I love the Meryl on you! It's just right size wise, it seems to hang just right so I'd say keep it. Honestly I think that looks lovely.

@GinandGingerBeer I am not menopausal (just seem to be eternally peri menopausal) but I would say that any changes in your breasts that doesn't appear to be related to your cycle probably warrants a chat with your GP about.

Hello :)
@ginandgingerbeer You could try taking evening primrose oil if the pains is too much. It is meant to be good at alleviating breast tenderness.
As for me, still feel rubbish. @Ella, love the grey jumper on you.

neveradullmoment99 · 11/12/2018 20:22

@finger, the meryl is perfect on you :)

dontcallmelen · 11/12/2018 20:28

never sending 🍰☕️ hope you feel better soon.

ilovecherries · 11/12/2018 20:31

soups, I used to buy a lot from Wrap (and poetry) as they did size 22. Haven’t bought anything for a couple of years though love some of their knitwear. Look forward to seeing the top on.

Gin LOVE the boots. I have to wear a bra 24/7 or I get pain in my armpits. I wear wired during the day, and a nursing bra at night, to get soft unwired cups. Some people swear by evening primrose oil, but I didn’t find it did much for me.

Fudge, you don’t look fat and the meryl look is lovely on you. I am having a bit of a challenge with the price though, and I think you need to adore it for that money.

Hush is being slow with returns again Angry. They owe me a fortune and we are now at 10 days.

My dd was bullied at uni last year. I couldn’t believe that adults would behave like that. I was desperate to interfere, managed just to contain myself and support her in dealing with it her way, but bloody queen bees, I was furious and she was distraught for months.

ilovecherries · 11/12/2018 20:33

Jiffy, I wear my double star to death - in fact I’ve bought a second one in the sale as the chain is getting skanky I’ve worn it so much.

ilovecherries · 11/12/2018 20:34

Miffy. Not Jiffy.

NotAnActualSheep · 11/12/2018 21:04

fudge the Meryl looks lovely on you! Not fat at all!!! The pink is such a pretty colour Envy no, I've definitely given up on the Meryl-gathering...

soups - Sorry to hear of your family troubles... that must be hard for you all. They both seem like tricky ages...especially with the A levels. There seems to be so much more pressure on students than when I was going through all this in the dim and distant past I really feel sorry for young people at the moment, with the uncertainties of the job market and so on as well.

I haven't ordered from wrap ever, but you reminded me that years ago I had a beautiful burgundy knitted tunic from them from a charity shop. It got so many compliments. And then I shrunk it in a washing machine disaster in a post-partum fug of hormones, sleep deprivation and incompetence. I actually cried. I got their brochure a while back and drooled over a few things, but it was all quite expensive. But a sale you say...??? no Halo for me any longer I think..not that I had one anyway

Gin your boots are fantastic! Love them..and such a bargain. Definitely gorgeosu. Lol!! Can't help on the boob pain I'm afraid. Mine seem strangely resilient...even when pregnant I wasn't aware of them annoying me. But I have heard never's and cherries' suggestion of evening primrose is helpful.

I think you have made the right decision about returning things unless 100% perfect miffy (and soy!). I'm awful at keeping things that I like, but don't LOVE...especially stuff bought online, as it's so easy, and returning involves a bit of hassle. But I wonder if I'd keep as much if I was in a shop and actually had to go to the counter and buy it?! I'm having the same issue as cherries Re hush being slow. I've only just got acknowledgement of the two green dresses I sent back a good week ago, and no refund yet.

Sorry to hear of all the gf issues. DS is only 7 and I was kind of hoping I'd naturally get less protective of him as he gets older, but I realise it doesn't really work like that!! I'm not looking forward to him getting to the age where relationships start getting messy. I'm sure I'll want to do a bit of punching Grin. Glad yours is a little better today though soy. It will be a long process but (trite I know) I'm sure he'll come out stronger in the end.

Glad you're feeling a bit better len...but sorry never is still suffering. And hope Laska is as OK as possible...

The tree did make it here in the end - hurrah! Will probably decorate it tomorrow or Thursday when we have a bit more time in the evening.

ilovecherries · 11/12/2018 21:18

Ha ha, Hush must have heard me, had 4 refunds through in the last 5 minutes, only another three outstanding. But you know the weird thing - every single one of them is a penny short. What’s that about?

Laska2Meryls · 11/12/2018 21:23

Hi all just checking in, Thanks for your lovely messages and thoughts..
.It was a tough day yesterday , but ill be back commenting on lovely Hush and other stuff asap.. You've not lost me,....but , but difficult time and its hit me a bit now tbh..But I'll be back soon ...xx..

btw I do think the Hush 30% offer is a bit rubbish tbh

ilovecherries · 11/12/2018 21:38

Be very kind to yourself, Laska. xx

NotAnActualSheep · 11/12/2018 21:44

Lol cherries! Not sure what that penny thing is about. I'm going to check mine now...

Waves @ Laska. Hello there. Totally understandable...take time for yourself to grieve and take it easy. I kind of agree about the "not quite 30% off some current stuff and bringing back old season stock" sale. Though I still manage to have bought stuff Xmas Blush. Don't think I want anything in the "new release" though Xmas Shock.

But WTF soups!!! I could spend an absolute fortune in the wrap sale...Why, oh why mention that...and there's some really good reductions (though I have to say the way they put the clothes on the website makes them look very unappealing until you see how they hang on the models... OMG...). Love your top BTW.

GinandGingerBeer · 11/12/2018 21:51

Grin Soy I had to do a double take and I wondered exactly what pictures I'd posted 😂
Thanks all for the boob advice, I'll have to see the GP if it doesn't settle down.
Fudge it looks lovely! You're not fat! Gorgeous figure!

dontcallmelen · 11/12/2018 22:10

Laska good to hear from you, yy be kind to yourself & I know it’s a well worn cliche, but time is the healer take care 😘

neveradullmoment99 · 11/12/2018 22:25

@Laska, glad to see you on. I guess the funeral makes it so real. Take care of yourself and will look forward to you coming back on to join us when you feel up to itFlowers.
I haven't bought anything from the extra additions. There is nothing really that i want now and even when i could be tempted, prices are not really brilliantly reduced. So hanging out until the sale.

twosoups1972 · 11/12/2018 22:49

@AFingerofFudge you don't look fat at all, I think the Meryl is lovely on you. I also tried one a few weeks ago but like you wasn't sure it was worth £110. The colour is lovely though.

twosoups1972 · 11/12/2018 22:53

*@Notanactualsheep totally agree about pressure on kids these days. I'm a bit disillusioned with the whole UK education system tbh, the hoops they have to jump through, bloody goals/targets all the bloody time. Kids feeling like failures if they don't get a string of As.

laska look after yourself Flowers

AFingerofFudge · 11/12/2018 23:43

Thank you all for the positive comments about Meryl, I think I'm going to allow her to stay. Thank you also for the reassurances re my weight. As I said, I've slowly gained a bit of extra weight this year and now more of a 14 than a 12, and could do with reigning it in somehow.

laska thinking of you at the minute, it's going to be hard at times Thanks

ilovecherries · 12/12/2018 12:25

Feeling glowy and very virtuous after a 5 mile run. (Well shuffle, but hey). My camel Stories cashmere has arrived. Almost identical cut and colour to the Hush one at a lot less money (£77), and best of all, it hasn’t been vandalised before dispatch Xmas Smile. I’m really liking all 4 of the Stories jumpers I bought (2 boyfriend cashmere in red and camel and two Meryl-a-likes in camel and grey).

NotAnActualSheep · 12/12/2018 13:18

Glad you've decided to keep the Meryl fudge. It really suits you!

And good news on the camel cashmere cherries... not vandalising something for sale, hey...there's a thought! Impressed by the run too. Have a virtuous and glowy emoji! HaloXmas Blush

dontcallmelen · 12/12/2018 13:47

Ooh cherries yy very virtuous, well done & jumpers sound really very good especially the price difference.
I’m having a little pity party for myself, the cold that refuses to go has now also turned into a hacking cough, that has kept me up most of the night😷

twosoups1972 · 12/12/2018 14:24

Well done on the run cherries you’ve made me feel guilty! I usually try and run twice a week but haven’t been for ages what with being ill. Probably lost all my fitness now!
