Well im home and sober but we had a fantastic evening and i feel very virtuous having only had two glasses. We are all getting on and were terrified of having to go to the loo once it had started.

Fab show but i am glad i had listened to the music before hand and knew the story.

hendricksy · 20/12/2018 08:05

The necklace ( taken with work dress as I've not been out yet ) you get the gist though .

Each😂 the perils of getting older.
hendricksy necklace is very pretty👍🏼

neveradullmoment99 · 20/12/2018 10:50

Love the necklace @hendricksy. It is absolutely gorgeous and i love it with your black dress:)

twosoups1972 · 20/12/2018 12:18

Hello all

Not sure who it was but a big THANK YOU to whoever recommended the Gap straight leg jeans. They are FAB! I got 2 pairs, one blue one black. Might have to wave goodbye to my skinnies, straight leg suits me so much better Smile

hendricksy really lovely necklace, lovely against a dark colour.

laska hope you are doing ok today and don't apologise. This is such a lovely friendly thread Flowers

eachandeveryone was it Hamilton you saw? And also which Boden jumpers did you get? Was one the Muriel?

twosoups1972 · 20/12/2018 12:20

I am considering this dress but not sure if the shape is too little-girly:

dontcallmelen · 20/12/2018 13:05

neveradullmoment99 · 20/12/2018 13:10

Fantastic @Melen!! It looks lovely on the website. Its a bargain.

EachandEveryone · 20/12/2018 13:12

Yes it was the Muriel jumper. I maybhave just spent another £100 in the Boden sale 😏

Somanyquestions2 · 20/12/2018 13:17

Hello all!

I have been into Hush for a few years and have been lurking on these threads enjoying all the information, ideas and advice. You are all so lovely and so supportive of each other, the thread is an oasis.

I came on to say that if anyone is still looking for a pink unicorn Meryl in S, I returned one to John Lewis yesterday so it should appear on their website in the next day or so. I think I saw it some time late one night. I also got one in XS from Hush last week and think will be keeping it.

Also Cherries I don't know if you have tried Revitabrow? It is expensive but nowhere near as much as microblading. It takes a few weeks to work but after that you don't always need to use it every day, maybe 3 times a week.

dontcallmelen · 20/12/2018 13:39

The cardi & half price Logan jumpers from boden, also went a bit mad with stuff for dgd but it was so bargainous sort of felt obliged 😂

Hello SoMany welcome.
Two I like the dress very versatile & has good reviews.
Fudge crikey hope you finish up for Christmas soon, really sounds as though you need a break.

neveradullmoment99 · 20/12/2018 13:51

Welcome @Somanyquestions2
It is an oasis :)

NotAnActualSheep · 20/12/2018 14:15

Ooooof. Just finished big work thingy and contemplating a BIG g + t once I get to the airport for flight home. Pretty intense couple of days (not helped by chairs WHO CAN'T STICK TO AN AGENDA), but that was my big pre-Christmas thing, so just got a couple of bits to finish off tomorrow before I can properly relax. Wahey!

Been good to see all your hauls each and len, and love hendricksy's necklace. Also looking forward to reviews of the Wallis Christmas jumper, leopard dress ( if you do end up getting it, live!) and Ceres skirt...I did wear mine today, and ended up extolling the virtues of hush and skirts with pockets to one of the hotel staff who complemented it!!!

Still resisting the Boden sale...though I do like that dress soups and still contemplating a third Heidi jumper in the Meryl-pink... any bets on how long I last??!

Sympathies to fudge work and spending woes, and of course to Laska....I'd echo what others have said... Flowers

NotAnActualSheep · 20/12/2018 14:16

And still a bit envious of the pink Meryl owners, somany!! Hello there!

twosoups1972 · 20/12/2018 14:54

PorpoisefullyObtuse · 20/12/2018 19:37

You look wonderful MissFliss.

Yesterday I wore my ancient grey Tara with a new phase eight scarf.

Today I meryled!

I’m having a hush week.

SoyYo · 20/12/2018 20:37

Sorry I’ve been absent will catch up with all the fabulous buys and posts but just came to our “oasis” for some moral support...I dunno maybe Brexit has finally got to me Sad
I had one of those FB discussions in a friends thread with “her” friend who I don’t know. She said she was leaving due to EU migration putting huge strain in the NHS. So it started off nicely, I gave her the govt figures clearly showing the EU 14billion contribution from Eu citizens in tax/NI vs the 2.6B they claim back saying the NHS is suffering from lack of Govt funding with the ageing population, etc etc. I’m not sure I should be posting this here but she kept refusing to believe the facts and blaming EVERY ILL in UK to EU migrants which I, as a migrant (and dual British citizen) find very upsetting.
Honestly I feel like packing my bags today and buggering off with DH on tow where my high rate tax payer contribution is welcome. I’m fed up of being viewed suspiciously and being told by a stranger “they don’t object to me having dual citizenship”...38 years contributing to this society, all to be treated as someone who should be grateful for her dual citizenship.
I’m very very upset and if it wasn’t for my British DS I’d be packing my bags tomorrow I don’t need this toxic shit anymore

SoyYo · 20/12/2018 20:56

@miss the dress looks fabulous on you 😍
Lovely necklace hendricks
@melen great cardies! Love the khaki coloured one specially
soups Boden dresses are girly but then I think it’s a lovely dress, be girly I say!
@laska thinking of you, hope today was okay and you’re allowing plenty of time to just “be”
@tansin I got the Wallis sparkly jumper today, it’s great! So soft and so much better than I expected
@not hope you’re home soon and enjoy some well deserved G&T’s

I have one final busy work day left so totally sympathise with all you manic ones Wink please ignore my rant above, I think I’m a wee bit stressed.
Chat tomorrow with good Solstice vibes (I’ll douse myself in sage to get rid of that toxic FB chat) Grin
