Mango has a Meryl-esque jumper in pink - it's ribbed but I like the look of it. Also have it in grey https://shop.mango.com/gb/women/cardigans-and-sweaters-sweaters/turtleneck-ribbed-sweater43030871.html?c=85&n=1&s=prendasshe.familia;55,355,610,810

hendricksy beautiful necklace. Funnily enough I’ve been looking for something similar. Could you post a picture of it on please?

ilovecherries · 15/12/2018 15:08

Urgh, icy hail here. I got the dog out before it started, she can piddle in the garden for the rest of the day, I’m not going back out. Feeling a right old gimmer, remember the days when this is a weekend I’d have been mortified not to have plans for. Now I’m at home, wearing leggings and oversized jumper and not planning to move from tv/fire till bedtime. I did wear a furry Cossack hat when I took the dog out - it was rather lovely. Would never have worn such a thing in the past but it was so cosy.

neveradullmoment99 · 15/12/2018 15:22

It was snowing, now hail, now slippy slush and ice on the ground. Freezing and horrible. I am in for the night too - thank goodness. Nibbles and snacks and a movie tonight!!

GinandGingerBeer · 15/12/2018 15:48

I'm out tonight. A very dear friends 50th & she's just recently lost her sister so even if I have to toboggan there, I'm going!
I'm thinking of wearing snakeskin marina with primary fleece leggings under and those new boots, hush leather jacket with black fur coat on top Grin
Oh and a jumper!

GinandGingerBeer · 15/12/2018 15:50

Primark not primary Grin

Hello everyone crikey weather sounds awful, raining & cold here but not nearly as bad as some you up the country.

A very Meryl-y Christmas to all.. Hush Christmas continued
neveradullmoment99 · 15/12/2018 16:04

Gorgeous tree @Melen. Stunning :)

dontcallmelen · 15/12/2018 16:32

Gin lol at the Aunties with the songs, my DF was one of eleven & they all had the signature song, sadly now lots of them gone but yy the cousins have taken up the baton.
Aww I hope your friend has a nice birthday definitely one invite worth toboggan too, outfit sounds weather appropriate😄

Ellapaella · 15/12/2018 16:33

Love the tree len - looks lovely. Envious of you going out tonight gin - I'm at home feeling a little bored, although it's so cold it's probably a good thing I'm staying in.
I had a bit of a disappointing afternoon - was meant to be meeting a friend in town for a drink this afternoon and a spot of afternoon shopping but DH is on call and has had to go in unexpectedly. This very rarely happens these days. I know it can't be helped and I probably shouldn't have made plans when he's on call but it's been months since he last had to actually go back in urgently (he goes in the morning to sort things out but is usually home by early afternoon for the rest of the day).
Now I'm at home playing on the Nintendo with two youngest dc instead. Could be worse I guess. No snow here yet.
Maybe an evening of Christmas movies and gin is in order...
Love the necklace @hendricksy.

Its freezing and hasnt stopped raining. Im meeting a friend at 6 just local. Im working in morning and low carbing so it wont be a late one. I need someting for the theatre and Ivy on Thursday. No idea what. Im goung with my good friend and his Dh. Hes said hes not drinking but, I know him and we could end up anyway. I guess i better dust my credit card off.

Boden seems to have better reductions than Hush but nothings really grabbing me. The patches have made me go to a H cup so nothing really looks nice just frumpy.

PorpoisefullyObtuse · 15/12/2018 17:27

Oh my days. Meryl has arrived. She is ridiculously overpriced but I love her. I must have her.

Today’s earlier outfit. MV leggings, new zebra trainers from yesterday and my oversized cream shirt. So comfy.

Ellapaella · 15/12/2018 17:55

@PorpoisefullyObtuse where is your shirt from?

OP posts:
PorpoisefullyObtuse · 15/12/2018 18:05

@ellapaella it’s french connection. Another first outing. It’s such a lovely drapey thing. They had it in navy as well.

Ellapaella · 15/12/2018 18:42

I really like it, looks great with the leggings.

twosoups1972 · 15/12/2018 18:58

@PorpoisefullyObtuse the pink Meryl looks lovely on you. What size did you get?

PorpoisefullyObtuse · 15/12/2018 19:15

Twosoups1972 it’s an Xs. I’m a 10.

ilovecherries · 15/12/2018 21:03

I think I am going to have to have my brows microbladed. I’ve always managed with powders and paint but after I got so stressed out two weeks ago they started to look a bit sparser and tonight I have rubbed a space in one while taking the stuff off them. I’m feeling a bit hacked off with it. Lashes, touch wood, are still intact. Has anyone had it done? Any ideas about how to choose someone - I really don’t want that terribly square look at the ends with the hard edges. I have a friend who’s had it done and while she loves them, they certainly aren’t what I want. I don’t want them to look done as such.

Ellapaella · 15/12/2018 21:05

@ilovecherries I am thinking about having it done too.. a good friend of mine has recently had it done and it looks great but the person who did hers has a waiting list 6 months long! So I think it's worth finding someone who's highly recommended. I'd be interested to hear others experiences too.

OP posts:
neveradullmoment99 · 15/12/2018 21:24

No experience except from on here and photos of people. Tbh, I'm not sure it works as a 'natural' look. I would like to be proved wrong. Hope you find someone to do it and would be excited to see the results.
Eyebrows really frame your face so it is really important to get someone who is good at is like Ella says.

neveradullmoment99 · 15/12/2018 21:25

@Porpoise, love both the jumper and legging and shirt and legging combo. Its a thumbs up from me.

EachandEveryone · 15/12/2018 21:26

Im really 💭 ng about it too. Theres a place down Harley street on here that gets recommended a lot. I found someone last month that was just coming to the end of her training with this particular practitioner and was only going to charge me £150 but needed a letter off my GP amd i was too embarrassed to adk for one.

Ove since had them hennaed and really love them.

ilovecherries · 15/12/2018 21:35

6 months :(. I’m not sure my right one has 6 days left in it :(. This woman has been recommended but she’s in London and apparently it will cost 7-800. For me, it’s like wigs though. I don’t delude myself that they ever look completely natural, but a good one makes me look better. www.traciegiles.co.uk

EachandEveryone · 15/12/2018 23:21

They need topping up as well. www.karenbetts.com/client/katie-piper/ i was quoted £450 not with Karen herself but one of the others. Im saving up!
