I am so bloody excited fo Sunday

Does anyone want to join me in a discussion about the contents this year? No spoilers!

I always use pencil eye liner, if any. So am pleased with this. I wonder whether it's has good staying power? (doesn't say waterproof or long lasting though)? Have one on the go at the mo so may save until next year to use.

I never wear eye liner or any other make up other than colour on my toe nails. I have no idea how to apply eye liner. Any tips?

I have been using the night cream, gel and eye cream every day and I will use the hair stuff regularly.

I've been lurking and have a couple of things for swaps including today's eye liner and yesterday's lip gloss and a bunch of stuff from last year as I stupidly have kept it for best! - does anyone have the Shay and Blue perfume or the Nuxe cream or Occitane shower gel they would like to swap?

Not something I'll use but will pass it on to my DD . She'll be happy with it

This one will probably be a swap for me if anyone wants it, I have quite a few eye pencils already and black is usually too harsh on my skin tone. I sometimes use grey so if it's lightly pigmented I might get some use out of it I suppose. I didn't get on with the mascara from this brand in a previous calendar though, it made my eyelid itchy, so I'm wary. Into the swap pile I think.
I used the P&R thing last night but my hair isn't dry yet so I'm holding back judgement.

I love this!! Current pencil is getting a bit short so this is perfect timing. I bought a full size of the Eyeko mascara yesterday as I like it so much.

This seems like a useful sort of thing, but will have to withhold judgement until I see how well it stays.

I wear black eyeliner every day so this will be useful for me. Not exciting but fine.

That’s strange, I have a pencil too but it doesn’t sound like it’s the same one as you all have. Happy with it though

I have the black Diego pencil too. Haven't worn eyeliner in ages (mainly due to time tbh) but tried this out this morning and actually really like it. Also slept with the p&r hair treatment in last night. Not overly impressed tbh. My hair seems more flyaway and fluffy than anything else. Much preferred the elastisizer and may stump for a full size one. I end up with wet hair on a Friday due to DDs swimming lessons anyhow so will probably plonk it on then.

I use black eyeliner everyday but I have quite a stash already from Birchboxes etc so this is definitely a "useful thing that I will use at some point" rather than a thing to get overly excited about!
I am surprised by the hate for yesterdays and wonder if I have the same colour as everyone elses? Mine is a slightly peachy pink but it goes on as a nice neutral shade, perfect for daytime wear and it feels moisturizing rather than sticky as some glosses do so I am quite pleased with it

Mine is a Stila.

I don’t know if I’ve got this instead of the Diego or if perhaps the Diego is yet to come and you will all have the Stila on another day. I won’t say too much about the one I have in case it is the latter. Very strange though, maybe the elves have been tinkering!

Eyeliner is my desert island product so I'm pleased to have a new (to me) brand to try. I'm always on the hunt for one that will stay put.

This is a useful one as my current eyeliner is running out! I tried the pencil this morning but will have to get used to it as I'm used to a gel liner which is much softer.

Wore the gloss out last night and was pleased with staying power. A win for me!

@SlowNorris that's odd, but I know there are some days like the sponge and lip balm last year, where it could be one of two products. There are 26 items on the back of the calendar but only 25 doors.

Just tried yesterday’s lipgloss and I actually love it. The colour isn’t too orangey on me and it reminds me of a MAC lipglass I used to wear circa ten years ago. And the texture is great - not too slippery/sticky but actually kind of... balm-y?

Not fussed about today’s. Black eyeliner is a bit harsh for daytime and I rarely go out

Still unsure on the lipgloss , it’s very sticky , but I’ll slather some on this afternoon

I was surprised at the lip gloss. I tend to wear blue based pinks and reds, am olive complexioned and anything too pale just makes me look like I’ve been dug up.

Once on it didn’t seem to have any colour, it was surprisingly flattering and lasted for several hours. I think it’d be good over a lipstick too.

I have soooo many lip glosses. Would have preferred a lipstick.

@mysweetAudrina tips on eyeliner, try googling tightlining. It's totally changed the way I use day time eyeliner now. I always use black eyeliner (darker skin) so today's is a winner for me. Also loved the lipgloss - thought it would be too pale and cutesy but actually is quite neutral and has a nice non sticky texture. Just the kind of thing I wouldn't ever have even picked up in the shop but will probably use loads.

I tried the eyeliner, it did drag on my upper lid but was ok under the lower lashes. I wear contact lenses so tightlining isn't an option, I don't want to risk infection.
