Quite pleased with the nail file!

Been trying out a few of the products over last few days. I do actually quite like the moisture boost gel but probably wouldn't bother buying full size at the price!

Anyone else finding the Pixie tonic quite harsh? Used for two days now and my face is red and sore after using this along with my usual products. I have got increasingly sensitive skin but this does say it is suitable for all skin types.

HumberElla · 14/12/2018 21:14

I get through lots of emery boards and have wanted try one of these since I heard about them recently.
Am hoping for some makeup soon now, loving all the skin care and now I want some sparkle!

ProjectGainsborough · 14/12/2018 22:14

The Girl Scout in me is thrilled by the tiny nail file. Already have and love the full sized one, so really pleased with it.

Interesting that lots of posters have broken out - I have too. It could be the retinol I’ve just started using, but since that’s once a week only, I think it could be the night cream...

Kochicoo · 15/12/2018 07:14

Pleased with a lip gloss. Would have preferred a different colour cause it doesn't suit me but I'll put it over a pinkier lipstick which does suit me and I think it'll look nice.

cuppycakey · 15/12/2018 07:21

If anyone wants to swap todays please PM me - it's no good for me at all with my slightly yellow teeth Sad I will swap for pretty much anything except nail file and nail polish.

LoniceraJaponica · 15/12/2018 07:36

Today's lip colour is hideous. I can't think that this colour would suit most people.

dollyknocker · 15/12/2018 07:39

Cuppycake, what colour did you get? I got a pale shimmery pink which is lovely but sounds like you got something different? I think I'll have some bits to swap, maybe the Nuxe as I can't stand the smell of Nuxe. I have the face oil already and rarely use it as the scent gives me a headache.

LoniceraJaponica · 15/12/2018 07:43

Mine is an orangey colour.

TheNavigator · 15/12/2018 07:49

Not so keen on the last couple of days - nail file and underwhelming lip gloss. Hey ho - I've liked everything else so far, so hopefully this just a blip & tomorrow will make up for it.

MeetOnTheSIedge · 15/12/2018 07:51

Mine is a shimmery bronze, looks beautiful in the tube but not sure I'll wear it, I don't think the colour will suit me and I never wear glosses as they wear off so fast and my hair gets in them. I don't use lip colours of any description very often TBH.

AWHereWeCome · 15/12/2018 07:58

Ooh I like this one! The little sticker on the end of the tube says it's "lip perfecting balm gloss" and it does feel like a lip balm on my lips. And a bit less sticky than normal gloss. The colour's subtle but pretty - mines a pinky peach called Bellini.

I'm very pleased as I'm one of those who didn't get on with the earlier lip balm. I really wanted to like it but when I put it on it felt almost powdery, I persevered for a few days but then my lips started cracking and I'm sure that was the cause so I've ditched it.

FlipFlapBat · 15/12/2018 08:00

Orange lip gloss. Probably the worst colour I could imagine!

I have two of the Pixi lip glosses from last year as someone sent me one in a swap and I’ve never used them either as I’m not really a gloss person.

Yesterday I was a bit disappointed today I’m very disappointed. Hopefully back on track tomorrow as I’ve loved the rest!

FlipFlapBat · 15/12/2018 08:02

The colour is 01 Bellini

www.marksandspencer.com/lip-perfecting-balm-gloss-4-5ml/p/p60205115?&pdpredirect

It’s worth £22! I can think of so many thinks I would have preferred for £22!

cuppycakey · 15/12/2018 08:05

@dollyknocker happy to swap for Nuxe.

It's a peachy pink and I just checked, it is 01 Bellini. Sticker on bottom of tube. I will PM you my details. I need blue based tones for my colouring.

Thanks!!

MiaN · 15/12/2018 08:07

It's lovely on, it doesn't look orange on me.

from studio 10 website

"Hyaluronic Acid filing spheres absorb moisture like a sponge to plump and smooth the surface of the skin, helping create a soft, uniform texture and boost volume.
Amino acids help stimulate the production of collagen that fortifies the skin texture and tone, giving a more refined contour to the lips long term.
Vitamin E protects the lips from enviromental and lifestyle damage, repairing from the inside out."

cuppycakey · 15/12/2018 08:11

I loved last years Stila and buy it all the time. That kind of blue based pink is perfect on me but this just won't suit my colouring.

At least it is make up though and am sure lots of people will be happy with it.

Off to brave the crowds at M&S.....

Pinkgin50 · 15/12/2018 08:21

Mine's a peachy colour, just tried it on and it's quite subtle so will probably keep it although I wouldn't usually wear lip gloss .

ProjectGainsborough · 15/12/2018 08:22

Today is the first dud for me. Can’t think many people suit orange and it’s not even a Christmassy colour.

Tried it on and the colour is faint though so maybe will use it round the house to see if the hyuralonic does anything.

Flightywoman · 15/12/2018 08:35

Bellini for me too.

I don't wear lip gloss and I don't think it's my colour.

But it's another stocking filler for my niece perhaps. She loves make up and stuff!

panicovernow · 15/12/2018 09:03

Today's made me smile, a little bit of sparkleSmilenot tried it yet but may use over other colours with it being a neutral

FlipFlapBat · 15/12/2018 09:03

Tried it on, remembered I hate sticky feeling lip gloss but the colour wasn't too bad, it was just shiny really. Within an hour no hint of it left so I might use it as a lip balm or let my DD have it.

AncoraAmarena · 15/12/2018 09:05

Love today's, it's just my colour. I need warm toned lip colours and most of the ones I have are a theme on orange, just different shades.

Last year's made me look like a corpse, it was so unflattering so I am thrilled to bits thst there is something for us warm toned girls this year. And as people have said, it's very sheer so would suit many cool/neutral people too.

Penguins1 · 15/12/2018 09:28

Was excited about today's being make up when I read the side of the box! Colour of this lip balm gloss looks lovely! Had a Benefit one years ago that had a slight orangeness which really suited me. The colour looks great. Looking forward to trying this weekend! Am going out both today and tomorrow for Christmassy things so will try at one!

Skinfulnappies46 · 15/12/2018 09:28

What is this thing I found behind 15? I cannot think of anyone who would suit this shade. Shane on you M&S . Obviously a colour that didn’t sell ...at all (no shit Sherlock) .anyone can have mine..

Skinfulnappies46 · 15/12/2018 09:31
