Just in case Meghan or a Jessica are reading this thread; here’s a link to the Seraphine maternity website

Paradyning · 28/10/2018 05:46

How I do love those black shoes. Sigh.
Her boobs have exploded on that gorgeous Hugo boss dress!
Glad she's in ASOS maternity. Just awaiting my own order. Although sadly don't have the legs for a mini.

Paradyning · 28/10/2018 05:47

in in *in her dress. Not on the dress. That'll be when her milk come in.

owlshooting · 28/10/2018 05:57

Absolutely hate that awful trench coat.

AhoyDelBoy · 28/10/2018 06:04

The trench is by Karen Walker a famous and very expensive NZ designer. I’m not quite sure how MAM knew the origin of the black mini when all we could see was a small bit of fabric Hmm

AhoyDelBoy · 28/10/2018 06:05

I love the black shoes too Paradyning. Not the nice pair with the ankle strap so much.

AhoyDelBoy · 28/10/2018 06:05

Nude pair

AhoyDelBoy · 28/10/2018 06:08

in in in her dress. Not on the dress. That'll be when her milk come in.*

That did make me lol Grin

mathanxiety · 28/10/2018 06:13

Wrt the fit of the top of some dresses - I wonder if Meghan has pulled some of the dresses up a bit to make room for the bump in what should be the skirts?

QueenOfTheAndals · 28/10/2018 06:36

Stunning photo of HM knighting someone on one of her tours of NZ - that dress!

And if the young man next to the DoE looks familiar that's because he's Earl Spencer (or Viscount Althorp as he was at the time)! You can see Harry's resemblance to both his grandfathers there.

It's strange how the queen and princess m wore lots of strapless gowns back in the day but now it would be deemed slightly inappropriate. Maybe we've become more conservative

QueenOfTheAndals · 28/10/2018 06:47

It's a shame, as both Kate and Meghan have definitely got the shoulders for strapless gowns! There's a lot of pearl clutchers around who forget that HM wasn't always the elderly grandmother we know - she certainly had her share of glamour too!

Gorgeous photo Queen. I love old B&W photos.

owlshooting · 28/10/2018 06:51

love that photo of the Queen! I wonder why Earl Spencer was in the photo? What was he doing there?

QueenOfTheAndals · 28/10/2018 07:08

He was an equerry to both HM and her father @owlshooting. That photo was taken before his marriage, I think.

These long-haul royal tours seem like hard work today but imagine what it was like before you could fly and had to take a ship!

Yes, very good point Queen! I bet they enjoyed being at sea though! Freedom from the Palace life.

Clionba · 28/10/2018 07:22

The Spencers always had royal connections. The daughters were certainly put forward, don't forget Charles dated Lady Sarah (now Mccorquodale) a few years before Diana. HM was a glam lady!

Clionba · 28/10/2018 07:23

I really see the resemblance between Harry and the Duke of Edinburgh! You can see the Spencer genes as well, though.

QueenOfTheAndals · 28/10/2018 07:24

Isn't Diana's other sister married to a former private secretary of the Queen? So they were definitely well-connected.

Looking at that photo again, the DoE looks more like Charles Dance playing the DoE!

Meghan's looking very glam at the reception to celebrate women's suffrage. I can't see the bottom half of her dress but the neckline is lovely, and she really is a very good speaker.

Love that dress! She looks great.

beanaseireann · 28/10/2018 07:45

Meghan's second toe is so much longer than her other toes.
And I thought I had long toes Smile
There was a 'toe reader' ( foot reader really) on Daily Mail some months back I think - you know the type of tosh article - 'What your toes say about you'
I wonder what the expert would have to say about Meghan's ?

IPromiseIWontBeNaughty · 28/10/2018 07:50

That extract was hard reading. I’ve always said that Diana was not as innocent as she appeared in the way she behaved.

How damaging for William to have to listen to that interview.

I’ve read somewhere before that Charles made more of an effort to save the marriage than he was credited for.

But I suppose no one really knows what goes on between a couple.

Back to dresses - love that dress on Meghan. It’s gorgeous. I also like the khaki one - I’d love similar!

Clionba · 28/10/2018 07:51

The dress is lovely, very chic. She is a very good speaker, and speaks with warmth and conviction. I'm glad the role hasn't rendered her mute, at one point I was beginning to worry.
Some interesting genetic markers on those toes.
