It's even sadder that Camilla's husband was serially unfaithful to her. She seems to have decided that infidelity was just par for the course. She had an affair with Charles which her husband wasn't bothered about. Diana's life was ruined because of it, so she decided she would have affairs and behave increasingly badly herself. Oliver Hoare's wife and Julia Carling were casualties of her sense of entitlement. It just got worse and worse as Diana became more and more unhappy.
It seems William and Harry have made their peace with Camilla , though it must have been hard. I guess they want their father to be happy , so that shows maturity on their part. He and Camilla seem very well suited in a way he and Diana certainly weren't. It's just very sad Diana never found the right man in her life. She could have remarried, had more children and started a whole new life. She either chose men who were thick and not of her status, or men who were unavailable or not interested. Dodi Fayed would not have lasted I think, and he was totally unsuitable.
