Princess Eugenie's wedding: The sartorial highs and lows. Plus Fergie's back, bitches!

Following on from the general royal style thread, which is fast filling up, here's one just to discuss today's outfits.

My predictions

I’m really hoping Fergie will look fabulous - <a class="break-all" href="http://go.mumsnet.com/?xs=1&id=470X1554755&url=goo.gl/images/Ex3BbE" target="_blank">teal or <a class="break-all" href="http://go.mumsnet.com/?xs=1&id=470X1554755&url=goo.gl/images/oiAQaV" target="_blank">forest green look good on her.

After Kate's recent trip to the V&A, I’m hoping for something a bit more adventurous than a pale blue or yellow coat dress. Sophie in blue or pink Wickstead, Meghan in navy and/or boat-neck. She and Victoria Beckham may end up in similar outfits.

The Queen in fuchsia, neon green or yellow, Ladies Sarah and Helen in something elegant and understated, Karen Spencer in a dress that’s spectacular but so tight she can’t breathe.

And of course Princess Anne in a dress she's owned since 1986 that still fits her perfectly!

It was me who thought Harry and kate didn't talk. Just making assumptions from the last few times I've seen them. (Not jist this wedding). But im happy that's not the case!

I think she looks absolutely beautiful. The dress is gorgeous. I was a bit cynical about it beforehand but at the end of the day it's hard not to be happy for them. I love a wedding!

I think Prince Andrew is an arse and I thought the comment about Eugenie and Jack having more friends was crass. However I thought the comment was meant to be a joke (that didn't come across like one!)

The gospel choir at Meghan and Harry's wedding was a nod to Meghan's African-American background. I think they were fantastic and a great choice.

Hymn was Love Divine, All Loves Excelling. Very trad but you can't go wrong with it.

Also I loved the choir's harmonies in the final verse. This is where having a proper choir really shows. Most weddings you have to hope guests can do their best.

And both of them matched the tiara!

Meghan - navy is flattering and appropriate, although I agree with everyone else that she looks pregnant.
Kate is classic RoyalOccasion!Kate, but I love that colour on her and it's more seasonal than a pastel.
I appreciated the Cambridges and Sussexes entering so quickly & discreetly and not pulling focus from the bride.

Lovely clothes-but a pretty dull wedding.

That choral piece sounded magnificent. I bet it sounded great in the chapel.

Ah now I know why Kate's dress looks familiar. She's worn a similar style before.

Bit of shuffling while bridal party signs paperwork... do you think they're sneaking a KitKat or granola bar to keep going....

Just realised we've had hardly any camera shots of Her Maj this time. They seemed to show her a lot more at Harry and Meghan's wedding.
