Following on from the general royal style thread, which is fast filling up, here's one just to discuss today's outfits.

My predictions

I’m really hoping Fergie will look fabulous - <a class="break-all" href="http://go.mumsnet.com/?xs=1&id=470X1554755&url=goo.gl/images/Ex3BbE" target="_blank">teal or <a class="break-all" href="http://go.mumsnet.com/?xs=1&id=470X1554755&url=goo.gl/images/oiAQaV" target="_blank">forest green look good on her.

After Kate's recent trip to the V&A, I’m hoping for something a bit more adventurous than a pale blue or yellow coat dress. Sophie in blue or pink Wickstead, Meghan in navy and/or boat-neck. She and Victoria Beckham may end up in similar outfits.

The Queen in fuchsia, neon green or yellow, Ladies Sarah and Helen in something elegant and understated, Karen Spencer in a dress that’s spectacular but so tight she can’t breathe.

And of course Princess Anne in a dress she's owned since 1986 that still fits her perfectly!

susurration isn't it just! I'm only continuing to watch because of the cuteness between the couple. They really look besotted and so incredibly happy.

It's the Eugenie a lovely name and you could use genie for shirt.

This priest sounds so bored, there is no passion or warmth for a wedding, he sounds like he is doing a reading at funeral. What a ghastly choice for a priest for this wedding.

Could Meghan look.more pregnant?

I'm falling asleep at the vicar - I miss the bishop from H&M's wedding, he certainly livened things up!

She looks stunning I love the emerald touches on the earrings and tiara. And the low back is gorgeous.

I have YouTube still on as my second screen and as they can't show the service, they're showing the steps and therefore the gorgeous autumnal flowers down either side. Really beautiful.

Pippa does not know how to dress a bump.

Tbf isn't she due any day now? As long as she's comfortable. I have visions of Zara Tindall and how uncomfortable she was.

The sentiment was nice I think but not a lot of gusto. Archbishop Sementu is usually good so the next one will be better I think. Have met him and he is lovely.

Agree the delivery of the sermon was a bit dull, but I thought the sentiment was wonderful.

I go with the theory someone advanced that Meghan regularly wears accommodating clothes so that when she does get pregnant it'll be harder to spot.

The old Bish was a bad choice. Reminds me of Father Ted and the priest with the really boring voice.
