Royal Romances was a magazine collection from the news agents late 80s I think. So each one featured a different royal couple, some modern others from history.

@CurlyWurlyTwirly Phillip will be 101 in 2022. While I've no doubt HM will live as long as her mum, I'm not sure he'll make it. I think when he goes we'll see a sharp decline in her, as often happens in couples who've been together as long as they have. Over 70 years! sure there were more suitable grooms to be had but she was set on him! And given how handsome he was as a young man, who can blame her??

I don’t think Holly & Phil were quite the reverential tones Prince Andrew had in mind! Perhaps Fergie will be on the week after to chat about the wedding. Or perhaps Oprah will get the gig....

I agree, I think the Queen will go into decline once Phillip has gone.
I wonder if she will even make it to 101 without him by her side.
Remember princess Margaret died in early 2002 and then the Queen Mother was gone by the Easter. Losing a child, however old would be a shock and I wonder if losing a long standing spouse is a similar shock.
