Finally managed to collect my green velvet trousers/Rock ‘n’ Roll tee parcel today. No surprise that the trousers are going straight back! Way too short for 5’8 me. Material strongly reminded me of a velvour leisure suit I had back in the early eighties.

Love the tee, tried it with a Uniqlo heatech top underneath, faux leather trousers in black (and also purple) and a long dark grey Tescos cardigan over the top. Love great and definitely a keeper.

Actually glad the trousers were such an obvious no because I ordered the Yasmin skirt on the last day of the 10% offer on the basis that they’d be going back as I certainly can’t afford to keep both. Hopefully skirt will arrive tomorrow.

Love those Amies, Laska! Was never remotely tempted by them till that picture, hmm...

Got my refund for my zebra skirt through today and brand alley return. Feel sad about the zebra skirt. I really haven't found anything like it that isn't £££ Such a shame. I miss it.

@neveradullmoment99 despite loving my zebra skirt I have hardly worn it yet! I'm too scared unless it rips to shreds.
I wonder if the other patterned meg skirt has he same hem?
I'm away next week on a 3 day work conference so will be wearing the zebra skirt during the day with my biker boots and swapping them for heeled boots in the evening to go out for dinner.
Still contemplating the snakey marina. I love it but also seem to generate a lot of static electricity! I get shocks all the time at work walking along hospital floors, don't know what it is about them but they are very static!
@Laska5772 I love that biker jacket. I have way too many coats/jackets and cannot possibly justify another but I would love an oxblood All Saints one.

I was too late to return my zebra skirt and like ella plan to wear it for my work trips next week. If it rips I’ll contact Hush CS and complain but it will not sit unworn much longer, let’s live dangerously eh

On weight issues we all have them in middle age/menopause (except melen). I’ve started Pilates again this week after 2+ months of doing nada...and I’ve discovered I have muscle memory! 💪💪 my theory is that firm fat is the way to go these days

You should wear it @Ella. Tbh, i have cleared the way for you all to get a refund!!!!! If you need it. I think both skirts have exactly the same hem but the snake skirt doesnt :) not enabeling one bit

Super soft top feel amazing but just not me. Imogen mini dress has a great big hole in it. Ok but that put me off. Cressida shirred dress. Boak.

Velour raglan top is lovely. Not me at 44.50 but come the sale I will have my eye on it.

Morgan camo joggers and black hooded sloppy joe. Love them both. I’ve awkward coloured trainers which are lovely with the joggers. I’m wearing it tomorrow.

I’ve also decided to return next coated leggings. I can’t get on with them.

Today I was wearing last years burgundy polo neck Tara and I let wonderful in it. Comfortable and as appropriate for a serious meeting as the school run. That’s how I want to feel in my clothes.

Like the camo jogger on you porpoise .I have worn the supersoft top all day today with my black/grey Amies.

Wore my gorgeous biker jacket on the school run. Felt great in it. I have on my black hush skinnies from years ago, my pewter brogues [ I cant get them off my feet i just love them so much] and my long charcoal vest @laska - thought of you as i went to dig it out of the laundry pile. On top pale camel cashmere jumper and my gorgeous, stunning next plum biker. It is such a gorgeous colour. I am so happy with it.

I’m wearing M&S black skinnies, L/L charcoal vest (from primari ), wide grey jersey top from Hush and NL Brogues from yesterday.

Obtuse, I have the coated leggings from Next from last year, and bought another pair last week, which I’ve returned. They aren’t nearly as nice as last year and have (on me anyway) a very weird fit, and far too short in the rise.

I need to thank ella for convincing me to buy that Seasalt raincoat back in the sales. I really wasn’t sure about it, but three mile walk with dog in piddling rain and I’m completely dry and non-sweaty.

Yes, the seasalt raincoats are just brilliant. Hope you don't mind cherries but I mentioned you on another thread about weight loss and not being sure what to buy to wear. Hope that's ok :)

Has anyone bought the hush soleste dress? I'm quite taken with it but concerned it might be another Yasmin and make me feel fat and horrible!!!
