Never for me the snakeskin marina is the winner - but my disclaimer is I don't have any of the marina skirt so can't comment on static issues or durability.
Laska I adore your orange cashmere jumper 😍 - all your skirts look fantastic with those boots.
Cherries love the brogues! New Look is always worth a browse round occasionally. Some real gems to be found and actually I find the quality of New Look surprisingly good.

I have ordered the LL vest in charcoal but they only had it in small so it probably wont fit ( though its supposed to come up big). I also keep looking at these Pjs love them - apart from the dropped crotch (seems like a silly idea) which is just putting me off..

neveradullmoment99 · 04/10/2018 13:37

I have that vest and it is generous Laska. :)
I have worn the snakeskin one today! Was out shopping. Had ordered most gorgeous biker jacket in plum from next. Sized up as I like to be able to zip it up and wear a jumper under it. It is a stunning colour. I thought I may hate it but it is beautiful and the leather is so soft.

neveradullmoment99 · 04/10/2018 13:40

I really like those PJ's. I don't mind the dropped crotch [ reminds me of my ds when he was at uni and frequently flashed his boxers when wearing his dropped crotch jeans. I think he still wears them but less exaggerated! ] Anyway, back to the PJ's. They are really expensive!

neveradullmoment99 · 04/10/2018 13:44

Soyo It is definitely less swishy and less material but then I am wearing the 10 rather than the 12. Laska I wore the chunky brogues with it. They were just toooooo comfy to take off!

neveradullmoment99 · 04/10/2018 13:44

I wore it with my long blazer and tiger print scarf! I felt very ' art teacher'!!!!

Laska5772 · 04/10/2018 13:49

... they are too expensive, but I do like the red leopard print . If they are in the sale I will give them a go ..

I have just re-dyed my plum stripy Amies with some rather scary-to- use Rit dye in wine (a US make from Amazon) , as the Dylon plum was really not dark enough, It wasn't as simple as you had to make up the dye mix before putting it in the machine. But they have come out much darker.. more the burgundy/black stripe I wanted in the first place .. I am now subjecting my washing machine to Extreme cleaning

Laska5772 · 04/10/2018 13:51

Ella..Me and that orange jumper..... It is True Love. (nothing less) Grin

neveradullmoment99 · 04/10/2018 14:01

Biker jacker. It was quite pricey. Slightly generous but i want to have the option of zippng it even half way and find my tummy the issue!

I have that jacket too, never - got it last year. It’s gorgeous. My only problem with it is that I’m always wacking the back of my hand with the hanging buckle!

neveradullmoment99 · 04/10/2018 14:12

Yes, its a bit annoying having the belt and it going nowhere but its gorgeous!

neveradullmoment99 · 04/10/2018 14:13

I sized up Talisan because I had the bales and never wore it because although it looked great, I felt really restricted in it.

neveradullmoment99 · 04/10/2018 14:14

I sold my all saints bales on ebay last year. I love love love the colour of this one and didn't think I would.

Laska5772 · 04/10/2018 14:18

this hacket would avoid the problem .. more expensive of course. I have a lovely slate grey MV leather biker that DH v bought me last time I was thin.. Sadly it didnt fit for long.. I keep looking longingly at it .. Sad

SoyYo · 04/10/2018 14:29

never love the biker, style AND that deep burgundy shade swoon
I like the fit, this is how I wear all my leather bikers, I know people say to look best they should fit you a bit small, blah blah blah.
To me it’s a functional jacket and you should be able to do the zip up and have a couple of light layers underneath. This is where the more expensive ones are best as the leather is very soft and supple and so the arms fit, the zip goes up and you still look like you should.
Huge thumbs up...dare I ask where you got it from? soy repeat after me: you do not need more leather bikers 🙈

neveradullmoment99 · 04/10/2018 14:35

Its from Next. It is beautifully soft. Its not cheap at £180 though. Not the dearest either. It is much softer than the bales that I never wore and that was soft! I totally agree. It would probably look better if I kept with a 12 but honestly, I know I would never wear it. It needs to be functional at that price. Thanks for the thumbs up btw.

Laska5772 · 04/10/2018 14:37

I should sell it really but it was £250 and looking on ebay id get pretty much nothing for it,, so thats why it is still in my wardrobe, unworn..

SoyYo · 04/10/2018 14:38

A keeper for sure never you won’t regret it! If it fits and it’s comfortable you’ll wear lots, and they never date Smile

SoyYo · 04/10/2018 14:42

laska such a shame 😢 keep it you may fit into it next year but if not do get rid. I had a fabulous suede one I adored but was more like an 8/10 and I knew I’d never be that tiny again. It sat in my wardrobe for many a year. Couldn’t bear to part with it.
In the end a friends daughter (size 8, beautiful girl) was home from uni and I thought she might like it. She did and I gave it to her (it was barely worn). Felt much better knowing it was going to someone who would enjoy wearing it rather than having someone give me £50 for it...

Laska5772 · 04/10/2018 14:50

Pretty sure It wont , its a 14 but a small one , I was 10st I was given it. and it fitted but even then was q small - those ruddy norks . Sad

neveradullmoment99 · 04/10/2018 14:50

Leather jackets dont generally do well on ebay unless they are all saints or another sought after brand. You could still sell it and whayever you get put it towards a new one. That way, it still has the present from dh element iykwim.

neveradullmoment99 · 04/10/2018 14:51

Its super comfy btw @ soyo!

neveradullmoment99 · 04/10/2018 14:52

@50 restriction is the enemy.

Laska5772 · 04/10/2018 14:53

I may just give it to my friend next time I see her.. I know she loved it .. and she is now much thinner than me .. (but sadly through illness - she used to be much bigger than me!)
