HLbug looking back my first sale purchase of A/W17 was on 6th January 2018... So ages yet.. Sometimes they do flash offers (but not often) , so I'd look out for them .

@tentative3 I don't have that particular jumper but generally find Joules stuff to be fairly generous - I often size down in tops and knitwear.

I have the I2 in the Joules Lilly,. its quite generous and yes covers my bottom. 12 is about true to size for me though ( though sometimes more depending on cut and norks)

HLBug it’s a slippery slope

So i ordered the 2 marinas. One in black and the snake. Which do i keep? I dont think i would wear them enough to keep both. The black is a practical colour but seems dressier than the snake. If you have the black, how often do you wear it? Do you wear it for nights out? Or for work or just wear whenever? Help me decide!

Well, despite loving the snakeskin, I sent it back because of its static issues. In the spring, I wore the black a lot with silky tee shirts. Lately I’ve been wearing it with heavier jumpers, trainers and tights. I would say I dress it down more than up, mainly due to shoe issues.

As for how often I’ve worn it - maybe 20 times so far? I reckon I will get to the magic 33 over the winter. I’ve washed it 4/5 times, in a net bag with woolite and it’s come out like new.

I wear my Marinas to work mostly usually dressed won (What is this thing called 'nights out?)

Well exactly laska - I have no idea as I am a recluse these days!!! I have zero social life! Not even during the day! But you know, I don't mind that!
Its just if it was reserved to going out, I would never really wear it!
Thanks for the advice. I reckon the black is more practical. I don't have a great static issue with either strangely enough. I have tried both with tights too and I am ALWAYS shocking myself on things.

So placed another little order as I had a £20 referral :)
So ordered the beadle trainers. I absolutely do NOT need these but ordered them 'just to see' Also ordered the velour joggers with the side stripe and managed to snag a grey wide V-neck top. Only problem is its an xs but tbh, the black one I have is plenty big so reckon its probably fine. My black one [ which I adore] has bagged out a little anyway but all day I marvelled at how soft it was on my skin!

Argh. Bloody annoying ebay buyers. I get an offer for something £20 over the asking price. Excellent. Before I can accept it (app was being glitchy) I get a bid for the starting price, so lose the offer. Annoying but that’s life. 5 days later, auction finishes with only that one bid. Buyer emails to say ‘sorry, your item is no longer required, I was bidding on three coats to make sure I got one, and I won one of the other ones. Good luck with listing again. :)’ (her emoji not mine!). Offered it to the person who’d originally offered £20 over at the bid price, but she has bought elsewhere meantime. Humph.

I would never do that to anyone. If I’d been that stupid in the first place, I’d suck it up and resell myself.

Haha, to me, these are amazing shoes. It’s odd, because I really love the snakeskin fabric, and loved how soy styled it yesterday, but somehow the black seems a more substantial skirt.

Actually it feels a lot less substantial and on that note, I am off to check the hem on it!!!

I think it could snag on something very easily but at east it has been hemmed properly!

Oh I bloody love my shoes! I am just aware others may think they are fugly!
