Teeny Feet Len! ( sorry, couldnt resist!! ) . I am a 5 but bought the 5.5 but as I say, I have v sore toe and slightly wide feet so have erred on the larger size . But I'd say they were true to size..and they are fine with socks . Some of the reviews are saying they are narrow and i thought the 5s i tried on in the shop were . But returns are free! I'd order both .. ( and you can take them back to local Clarks shop if you have one) . Don't forget to use the code BTS18.

Ella I got the 14 in the Oasis skirt as that was all there was at the time.. it sits a bit lower on the waist on me , but as its short ( and I'm 60!) Thats fine .. I think you'll be ok .. I may actually take the hem down a bit more on mine .. ( There's another good inch of leeway )

ella Another listing of that skirt shows the waist on a 10 as 30in.. You'll be fine..

Send it anyway ella I have sent back several times after the date (even sale stuff because of being away on holiday when I ordered it) I have never had a problem with them refunding..

@ella, it might not happen to yours. What has happened is the bottom of the fine material where there is stitching, its like its come undone and it has frayed. Its not huge but I am thinking it may get worse. I haven't even washed it yet! I have not pulled it so no idea how this has happened except the stitching looks shit on it at the bottom and I think it is worse than on my other Florence skirt [ which I have had a couple of years] and is exactly the same style but a ditsy pattern.

On closer inspection the stitching at the bottom is actually unravelling. I would take a picture but I cant atm as my phone is in charging. Will take a picture to show you tomorrow in daylight. Its doing it in three places :(

I am going to email and ask for a refund. Not happy.

Len they are bound to have them in ( but best check about your size.) but at least you could see them . They had all colours in our little out-of-the-way shop. They gave me the 20% off in store. I just showed them the website with the code taken off at checkout.. Its supposed to be a 'back to school' discount if you have bought children's shoes so i said I had ! (actually I had , but not directly, DSD bought some and I paid! )

It's a real shame as the skirt looks so lovely on you never and I think it's one of those items that everyone will always ask about as it's quite unusual. I want to keep it as I love it but also don't want to have it fall apart after 3 wears!

Cheers Laska will give that a go, I did buy dgd some shoes last week.

For anyone interested in dyeing leather shoes (can't remember who said hey wanted to do it) I dyed this pair of (what were tan) boots with Fieblings leather dye.
They were a really old pair of quite wrecked tan ankle boots so was going to chuck them anyway but the colour has taken really well and actually dyed the stitching as well.
I rubbed them down with nail polish remover first and then applied two applications of dye, then rubbed over with a cream polish and Voila! A new pair of black boots.

Just off eBay, about £8 including postage. It really works well. I'll definitely think about doing other shoes now.

I'd definitely be interested to see what they re like after a few wears.. can you report back if you remember?

Of course. I've got an old Fossil handbag that's a faded red colour. I might dye that black tomorrow with the left over dye.

I have a faded Fossil bag also.. id quite like to re-do it red again..

They look great. Certainly a million miles from one of my efforts during shoes in the past.

I did have a similar triumph recently with a leather handbag. I just threw it in the machine with washing powder and it came out clean and perfect.

Anyone bought knitwear from Whistles? Or anything? What is their sizing like? I've never bought from them before I am kind of keen on This jumper Didnt I say i wasn't spending any more this month?

I think they are true to size laska. I have had some of their dresses and they can be largish. I have had a jumper but it was near as the only had a size below. Order your normal size imo.

I wear a medium in Whistles knitwear, Laska.

I have given the Whistles jumper a go in M and also these wide leg trousers which may be nice or horrid! The colour appealed but I have to say they even look baggy on model , so may be something my mum would wear! Hoping they may be like the Hush Winona IRL
