@Laska5772 I'm out at the mo too.

I'm not sure which one it is but I think it's 2 years old now.

I'll see if I can find out

So my haul finally came and it was all a bit disappointing. The printed raven dress I loved the colour and the print but just felt the shape would be better on someone taller (I’m 5’2ish) it’s nice and would be flattering on a different body shape I think. Green Tara- nice, fitted well, nice colour but I have ruched skirts already and didn’t feel like it gave me much different. Also thinking I’ve had those skirts a while and maybe the look is getting a bit dated? Grey velour trousers fitted well (a bit long but easily sorted) but the quality just felt rubbish- really stiff and thin material, looked wrinkled and creased from 5 min trying on, they just didn’t feel like they’d wear well at all.

Ah well, back to the drawing board- I’ve saved some money at least!

@missfliss have PM’d you Smile

neveradullmoment99 · 06/09/2018 15:55

Its a bugger to iron though so rarely wore it

I had this dress in black. Sold it on ebay. Virtually impossible to iron where it crosses over miss fliss I agree. Hated it so sold it! Nice dress but it crushes making the situation worse.

ilovecherries · 06/09/2018 16:46

Talking of bad purchases, I think I will sell my Marissa. Just tried it on and decided not to take it with me, it’s just too ‘pretty’ to wear without hair. Still got tags but not sure if I will wear it now. Will wait till I’ve been away with mum and dad as it upsets mum to see me without hair so MIGHT wear it with them. But if it’s only a one-off, thinking maybe I’m better not to as it will get more bnwt.

neveradullmoment99 · 06/09/2018 16:55

Actually, it may be hard to sell as the weather has taken a down turn. Sometimes you are as well as wearing it as people want a bargain and may not pay more than the actual price. I would look at the completed listings.

ilovecherries · 06/09/2018 16:57

I was thinking I’d probably pack away till Spring. I already had a mass of autum stuff to sell as soon as I’m back.

ilovecherries · 06/09/2018 17:12

Depends if they offload a lot in the Xmas sale, I guess, but it was oos in the summer, and never made the sale.

DavetheCat2001 · 06/09/2018 17:21

I sold my Marissa top a few weeks ago..it just wasn't me and it felt too flimsy.

I may well sell my Marissa dress too, but probably wait until the Spring.

I asked the other day but no one replied, has anyone tried on the Harlow boots?

OP posts:
DavetheCat2001 · 06/09/2018 18:21

Oh and does anyone know when/if they do any sort of discount between now and Xmas on the current stuff?

OP posts:
ilovecherries · 06/09/2018 18:27

Haven’t tried them, Dave, but they are gorgeous. I just looked at my old orders, and last year they did a second 10% discount mid October when they launched the winter stuff.

Laska5772 · 06/09/2018 18:43

Miss fliss I remember that dress now, but at the time i think i thought I was too booby for it! I still will be , so let someone else have it ..

Well I got one of those Oasis zebra skirts Porpoise posted on ebay today for £7.50.. thought I'd give it a go ebay doesn't count as spending? but went to M&S to pick up the plum cardi order that I was immediately returning as already got one now. and bought this jumper only £15 but it seems I cannot stop spending even for a day .. Blush Its really nice IRL the pink is lovely and bright.. not sure if it will last but at that price..

I haven't bought clothes from M&S for several years but this A/W they do seem to have some nice stuff.

PorpoisefullyObtuse · 06/09/2018 19:23

I am now an official thread member! I’ve enabled Laska!

I feel like poo today. Back sore. Shoulder sore. Neck sore. Too much bloody stress. Meant to be at Pilates but pretty sure i will be able to do nothing so thinking of staying home with a gin and watching my eBay auctions from last week end.

DavetheCat2001 · 06/09/2018 19:28

Thanks @ilovecherries

I shall hang on till tgen at least but I soooooo want them!

Laska5772 · 06/09/2018 19:38

....but lets face it, ....its not that hard though, porpoise Grin was worth a go I thought esp as it was on for a higher price, but I offered low at the last min and they took it! .

I dont know if ill like the Oasis skirt or even wear it more than once but at the price ill take a punt. . but also the same may be said if I had bought the Hush one!

I was going to sell my Marissa dress also but something has kept stopping me .. I wore it once on holiday, but the top annoyed me by keeping slipping of my shoulders.. But i do like it .. having said that though I may feel completely different about it next year!

PorpoisefullyObtuse · 06/09/2018 19:41

Don’t undermine my achievement!

It’s quite a short skirt but I seem to remember loving it! Want a slightly slouchy knit for it with thick tights and chunky boots.

Laska5772 · 06/09/2018 19:54

Grin Porpoise !! It was great enabling its just that I am so easily led I like the look of the Oasis much more than the hush actually..and also really like a short skirt with thick tights and biker boots .. ..if its good on me ill now need a red jumper !!

Laska5772 · 06/09/2018 20:01

This cashmere one perhaps

or maybe the Hush Charlie but Thats more than the cashmere so id need a code ..

i might just go for another one of these instead though.. would be a super-cheap outfit then!

Laska5772 · 06/09/2018 20:11

love the Harlow boots Dave but (and for Soy if you are looking ..) Here is what I am lusting after .. beware, some really serious gorgeous boot enabling! .. Sigh... if only....

DavetheCat2001 · 06/09/2018 20:26

ooooh nice Laska...but I love the Harlow's more Grin

I really, really, really don't 'need' anymore boots..but I really NEED those!

(I'm sure you gals understand!)

Laska..there are some SERIOUSLY lush boots on that site!
