I promise I will never post another picture of this skirt after tonight. Suddenly remembered all my knitwear was mothballed at home, so have been trying on to see if any of these work? First one is asilver grey dolman sleeve cashmere from mint velvet. It unfortunately has a silver star on the side, so while colour is ok, probably too much pattern? Second one is the curstard yellow number from Hush, and the last one is my green nana. One more picture to come in another post.

Has anyone had a ruched black skirt from Hush before? If so can it be dressed down/worn quite casually with jumpers/t-shirts/thick tights?

I do somewhere have a relaxed black cashmere v from Boden but can’t lay my hands on it and it would have been an XL so it will probably be too relaxed to work.

@CakeInMyFace I have a black ruched skirt - I wear it with tights and boots, chunky knit jumpers - all sorts, it goes with everything

They all look good @ilovecherries - I particularly like the first grey one and the green Nana jumper best.

I like the yellow with it cherries I like yellow and black and white together..
But then that same colour scheme was what I was wearing today.. Almost.... it was the same shade yellow raw linen top, (but I do also have this raglan )

Ella - I like the ugly jeans on you.

Cake - the ruched skirt can be worn in pretty much any way you might wish - dressed up for evening, with a blazer for work, with bare legs and trainers, with opaques and ankle boots or DMs, opaques and knee highs. It's very adaptable.

Ok, I think I’m going to keep it. I’m trying to have at least one item of clothing that slightly freaks me out. I reckon by the time I had tights and shoes it will be wearable.

Really like the yellow jumper and zebra skirt together, but agree that it needs tights. The skirt would look gorgeous with a slouchy black jumper.

@Cherries - I really like it with the grey jumpers and the yellow. Personally not so keen on it with the Nana as the jumper looks like you’ve turned it under slightly and is a bit too long for the skirt. The skirt looks fabulous

Hello :) Works been manic and at last it is my days off. Love all the pictures. Think the zebra skirt on you cherries looks great. Love it best with the first jumper [grey one] Its a good shape.

Well I bought a gorgeous blouse from Tesco tonight. Tried the dress in the same print but it didn't suit me. Wished they had a skirt or a top and when I was in tonight, noticed the blouse. Its lovely. Only £18. Its black with beautiful flowers on it in burgundy - very autumnal and looks quite expensive. Lovely silky fabric, batwing in style with a tie at the side. Im very pleased with it!

Thanks all - think I'll give the ruched skirt a try. I am in a huge ortho boot following a bad ankle break and surgery 2 months ago and prefer dresses and skirts at the moment! Been eyeing it up for a while so think I'll just go for it.

I'm getting left behind at the minute due to work! Working the next 3 days too so will only be popping in and out.
cherries I loved the skirt on you, especially with the burgundy top, and equally ella I loved the red top with the skirt. Although it's fair to say you'd probably look great in a binbag

My wide top has been sent out apparently but there's still a bit of a wait on the Harri jacket.
I did a very quick dash into my nearest town yesterday morning before work to take something back that needed returning by this week and I popped into M&S for a posh sandwich and I walked past that burgundy fake Shearling coat they have in the adverts at the mo. I my was really nice, and good value at £59. I had to stop myself buying it when I remembered I'd ordered the Harri!

No more autumn clothes for me now till the end of the month. Need to repack today as we head off to airport tomorrow. :)

It’s my birthday today so I went to Pilates first one since the op, I bloody loved it. No buying for me now I need to get my beauty bits done for the wedding. The weather is glorious today I hope it stays this way for the weekend.

hush dress free to a good home.

was ironing this a.m. ready to eBay and noticed a hole by the cuff. Can take to a charity shop but thought would offer it here just in case.

Lovely dress with fixed wrap over neckline. fits me well as size 12 (i am a 12 so its true to size i would say, above the knee). Its a bugger to iron though so rarely wore it.

Will post for free but perhaps a small £3 donation to a charity? Let me know - if not its going to the PDSA shop!!
