Day off and meeting an old friend for coffee, wearing mint velvet bumble bee tee with stars jeans and Sabrina cardi plus these shoes which I bought from Boden 2 or 3 yrs ago but wasn’t sure of! Bang on trend this year

I've been clearing and strimming the 'garden' weed patchwhich comes with Ds flat.

So old clothes worn for that and going to the tip after but I got changed after (in the car in Sainsburys car park! ) into Frayed Star shorts and blue slub T ..

It may be the last weekend for shorts , but I sure as hell am going to keep on with them for as long as possible

Just looking at the Halley Dress in the new Hush brochure - has anyone tried it?

I’m especially interested in sizing and how short it’d likely be on 5ft 4?

Just seen on Instagram that Gaby Roslin (she's on the radio and I find her funny so "follow" her) has been in JL today trying on Hush clothes. She was looking at 2 jumpers and those leopard Amie joggers.

My Hush wide top arrived. It's too wide for me as I'm not the slimmest of girls so will return it.
Have decided I like the Chrissie check blazer so now I need to sell a couple more things on eBay to fund it!

I tried that dress @Tafetta. I didn't like it. It was true to size but a very dull green [similar to the scout uniform] and the print wasn't very bright so you didn't see it that well. As for length, it was ok if I remember - with tights and boots and I am nearly 5ft 6. The thing I hated about it was the shoulders. On me It just didn't sit right. They were ever so slightly puffed and tbh, they didn't sit where they should making the dress look quite big. But it wasn't as it was narrow at the hips. Not the right shape for me. I couldn't get it to work for me so I sent it straight back.

I was wearing my hush cord dungarees today. Kept them. Loved wearing them with a tee and my ankle boots. Very comfy.

Its quite quiet on here these last few days...
Probably because most of us are on a no spend now!

I’ve only skimmed the thread (you guys do a LOT of shopping ) but has anyone got the red Upton Chelsea boots?

What’s Hush footwear like in general? Worth the £££?

I’m not exaggerating, I have been DREAMING about those lovely red boots, and have just had an unexpected windfall (which I should really save for more important things... but but but... 😍)

I have a number of hush boots and shoes and they are beautiful quality. The leather is lovely. I don't have those boots so cant comment on those but I love all the boots I have purchased.
As for the dungarees @huffthepuff, I didn't take any photos but wore them with last seasons hush ankle boots [ similar in style to the ones with the chain but with a buckle and zip. I just rolled up the dungarees once and popped them on with a little bit of ankle showing and they looked great.

I’ve had a major tidy up today. Autumnised the wardrobe. All sandals and summer dresses away. Retired anything sad looking. Identified eBay pile. Identified things which are missing. Realised I have a tonne of dresses, some so old they are very current. Realised I should return some new buys (not hush). Don’t need any coats or jackets. Found lovely leggings which are gorgeous with the wide v which had its first outing. Happy days!

I’m utterly in love with the Avebury boots. I would wear them with anything. Easiest with skirts or dresses and heavy black tights or very patterned black tights.. I’ve decided on a no spend September and a major eBay in the hope of justifying them. I seem to remember a 20% off at some point. They are still flaming extortionate.

I have an Emmanuel dress. I was thinking with them or with ruched skirt and thick tights and slouchy knit. What are your honest thoughts on those ASOS ones? The Avebury are so beautiful but I’m just not sure I’ll be able to justify them even with the 20%...

@zippyswife they are a good cheap alternative although they don't look like leather so you'd have to see what they look and felt like in the flesh I think.
They would go with absolutely anything - skinny jeans, leggings, skirts, dresses. Very versatile.

I would shop around. There are loads of dupes for that type of boot. I remember Soyo on here buying a similar pair from asos. Try also office and zalando for boots.
