Well the code finished yesterday. I don’t think there’ll be another for a few weeks at least although sometimes they’ll do special promos with 10% off ten dresses or ten tops for 24 hours.

ilovecherries · 03/09/2018 14:47

Thank you, soy, you are very kind Grin. I’m always mortified for those poor souls who post a picture asked my how old people think they are, when they are clearly mid 30s to 40s and twenty people say numbers from 60-75 and the poor woman ends up devastated.

Laska5772 · 03/09/2018 15:52

ok new stuff arrived.
here is the M&S dress again.. in 10 .. it works with a belt (but not so without) and I quite like it like that , but I know what will happen , after sitting around in it the belt will runch up and ill end up looking like a sack of spuds.. I think i am giving up on it and haven found any other I like so far , but maybe later in the season . I'm also really disappointed with the plum and grey cardis ., The grey is a bit meh tbh and the burgundy is lovely but is certainly not a sz S! its even bigger than the M i tried in the shop.. I did buy this really nice quality 'preppy' striped shirt in pink today though, and its great with jeans

Hush things: Estee shirt is nice, likethe pattern and colour. 12 fits on me with no 'gappyness' but its a neater fit than I thought , (and I wanted a bit baggy) and I was surprised to find its stretchy ( didn't read the fabric info ). also £59 so I will wait and see if it goes in the sale ..

Petrol star T .sorry, I know its popular here but I am really underwhelmed with this for the price .. going back.

The only thing I really like is the Wine raglan T , but at £30 is it too much for what is really just a plain T ? .

Also picked up grey V wide top . Yup its nice (i liked it before in the smaller size ) .. Trouble is.... I do think I am a bit falling out of love with Hush at the mo..(perhaps I have been a bit Hushed out.. and of course still annoyed with them not bothering to answer my email ).. ..So thinking about it ..

I meant it cherries wasn’t trying to be kind. I have enough trouble keeping up with this thread so wasn’t aware of people posting pics asking how old... OMG I agree why on earth would anyone do that? Specially on MN, sometimes I even wince at posting some of my pics pretend it’s only the friendly lot here lookingGrin

Laska5772 · 03/09/2018 16:03

Ha! they must be reading look what I just got

I do not understand why you were not reinstated as a friend of hush after the yearly review was made. You are a very loyal customer of hush so there has to be an error there! Please do not worry, I am manually putting your account back to being a friend of Hush so the premium option for free should now be there for you!

Laska5772 · 03/09/2018 16:04

.. and its back!

Ella you should email them!

dontcallmelen · 03/09/2018 16:15

@Talisin, yes just down the road about 10 mins by bus.

SoyYo · 03/09/2018 16:18

laska I like the dress with the belt but not without so if you’re at all unsure return.
The stripy shirt does look great in the pale pink, prefer it to the Hush one actually.
You’re making me hesitate on the petrol star T but I’m short of nice long sleeved T’s for winter and I love the colour so will keep? thinking 🤔
I like the wine coloured T but need to see on you, £30 is not OTT if good quality but the round neck can be unforgiving on large chests, sometimes it’s fine it depends on how the rest of it hangs (boxy or more shape) this is why I returned the RocknRoll sweat. Loved the colour and logo, lovely brushed cotton on the inside but the round neck just didn’t do me any favours...

dontcallmelen · 03/09/2018 16:34

Yy Laska like the dress with the belt, not keen without the shirt is lovely, I got a nice shirt from boden in the clearance section for £20.00 good value at £20.00, but really glad it didn’t pay full price as it’s a bit thin.

Laska5772 · 03/09/2018 16:48

here's a better one of the dress with belt

ilovecherries · 03/09/2018 16:50

I know what you mean about being hushed out Laska. I’m quite relieved there is nothing much calling me or making me feel ‘must have’. Have got two of the wide tops as I know I will wear them a lot, the leopard amies and the wine raglan, and have Meg on her way, but otherwise I feel ready to try a different look.

ilovecherries · 03/09/2018 16:53

I have worn my existing raglan tops to death, the French blue especially, and I think they have a wide enough neckline (more boat than crew on me) to get away with, so I was happy to pay £27 for it. The turquoise feels a bit summery, but would probably buy another in a different colour. Ivy I have decided just doesn’t suit new me :). I’m all about the cashmere now for a few months.

Laska5772 · 03/09/2018 17:12

Wine raglan.. I like this but id just a T ..

Estee shirt 12 ( this needs to be at least one size bigger for how Ilike shirts ..and I can see its creased just by me putting it back in the box) if I am going to change now it would need to be an exchange as i got £20 off this order .

Soy the petrol is nice , But I have a Sainsburys T about that colour anyway .. I'm also not that fussed about the flock star on me tbh

The M&S pink shirt looks nicer now! I have taken the right breast pocket off which gives it a more classic look (like mans shirt) ..if you are ever going to do this which you can on most fabrics , do it before its washed for the first time or ironed , then any stitching holes will disappear

Laska5772 · 03/09/2018 17:14

obvs I wouldnt usually style these with the black frayed denim shorts !!

Nearlyadoctor · 03/09/2018 17:35

@Laska I like the shirt but I think you’re right it would be better a big bigger. I love the raglan colour and actually because they’re a sort of cross between a t and a sweatshirt I don’t think £30 is too bad. All mine have washed and worn well ( although I know some have found the neck stretches) The dress is a much better fit in the 10 and much more flattering with the belt, but if you think it will get all rucked up when wearing maybe you’re better to wait for something else later on in the season. Shame about the cardi’s as they sounded promising.

Wellhellothere101 · 03/09/2018 17:42

Thanks talisin. I've just ordered the dress without a code. Hoping I like it!

Laska5772 · 03/09/2018 17:44

Gap jeans finally arrived
Real bargain for£32 . here with pink shirt (sans pocket ) and diabetic black cat who wants his dinner but has to wait another half hour

Laska5772 · 03/09/2018 18:09

Am keeping wine raglan, grey wide top and am going to 'consult' with Dh on dress at weekend I think.. (he has a good eye for clothes).

I dont know what to do about the plum cardi.. I really like it but I could order another S and get another huge one if its a batch problem. sadly our local M&S only has M and above ..

Laska5772 · 03/09/2018 18:12

and keeping jeans also they are these Gap ones They still have 30% off right now ( mine were 35% off!). I wanted the Hush Baileys but these are good and much cheaper!

SoyYo · 03/09/2018 18:49

Really like you in the jeans and shirt laska

Talisin · 03/09/2018 19:03

Got my Emanuelle dress today and absolutely love it. Really expected it to be one of those dresses that Does Not Work with boobs so it was a nice (but expensive) surprise. Normal size fitted fine so larger one is going back. Only problem is footwear - I got the blue/gold version and have nothing blue and nothing with gold harware (I always go for silver). The Hush model has it styled with animal print which I don’t own and don’t like anyway, about ninety percent of my boots are black and the rest are berry, silver, grey and glitter, none of which really work. The secondary model wears it with black tights and boots which works but I want bare leg (or at least natural colour tights) right now. What are other owners wearing with it?

@dontcallmelen Also 10 mins down the road by bus. Hi, possible neighbour Smile

redtulip12 · 03/09/2018 19:26

@Laska5772 I love the dress on you with the belt. Not as keen without. Also think the shirt and jeans combo looks great. Would never have known you can remove a pocket, wash and never know it was there. Great tip.

I am done with Hush buys for Autumn. Will wait and see what winter brings. A bit annoyed not to have Hush friends. Have bought a lot this past year. I seem to wear Hush most days so don't know how much more i would need to buy!!

Laska5772 · 03/09/2018 19:26

ooh can you post us a photo Talisin?

I love these boots in blue and I have these in blue (but they were not that price when i bought them !) actually I am not that keen on them..too high.. I may ebay them ..

Laska5772 · 03/09/2018 19:28

....oh sht ive just seen these I blame you Talisin*

Laska5772 · 03/09/2018 19:30
