It doesn't look good. Maybe she has difficult hair! I notice that she tried to put it up for the evening do. Mary and Marie need to give her hair advice!

user1457017537 · 29/08/2018 09:24

I think it is probably either a wig or hairpieces and extensions. It always looks the same and she never looks like she needs a haircut!

QueenOfTheAndals · 29/08/2018 09:48

Brigitte certainly likes her minidresses and leather trousers!

I don’t think it’s a wig, it looks like she just has a head of very thick hair.

But then again I’m terrible for spotting these things. I thought the DoC’s hair was just naturally amazing for years until someone on here pointed out it was definitely great and well placed extensions

QueenOfTheAndals · 29/08/2018 10:36

I'm not sure whether Kate has extensions. I thought she did but those photos of her on their Asian tour with no makeup and frizzy hair made me think it was all hers.

But that was before she had children. She may employ extensions these days to compensate for post-partum hair. She certainly wears it shorter now.

I think they all have a little help in the hair department, especially BM and MM

dinosaurkisses · 29/08/2018 11:42

Ah Queen, she definitely had them during the engagement and early marriage- I haven’t seen hair that thick and luscious outside of a equestrian yard!

Jackietheduck · 29/08/2018 13:28

There was some photo published a couple of years back where some of Kate’s extensions were attached was visibly noticeable. Some articles published too from celebrity stylists who recognised her hair as definite extensions. She went too far at one point. You just have to look at her uni photos to compare really. Stylists are good but they can’t create hair!

QueenOfTheAndals · 29/08/2018 13:42

Hmm, this photo claims to show extensions but I can't see them. And I remember everyone thought this was extensions but turned out to be a scar. It's a mystery!

I don't think Meghan has extensions, but she definitely chemically straightens her hair, as photos of her as a child and teen show her with curls.

So on the back of the French state visit to Demark, I will now aspire to look Danish rather than French.

(But I'd still rather go to the pub with Maxima. And think how many glasses you could smuggle out in her sleeves!)

Clionba · 29/08/2018 14:46

Yes, the Danish women are far more chic.

QueenOfTheAndals · 29/08/2018 14:48

Oh yes, Maxima would definitely be my choice of queenly companion on a night out. Kate would make one glass of red last the whole night out of concern for her figure, Mary would be too uptight to drink at all and Charlene would be miserable and moan about Albert. But Maxima looks like she'd be a hoot!

Lucky me has just become the recipient of a House of Bruar catalogue. God knows how, as it looks like somewhere the Queen, Anne and Camilla would shop! I present you with a selection of their tastiest morsels...

I can't upload any more photos today but something for the gent in your life?

OP posts:
QueenOfTheAndals · 29/08/2018 18:16

Oh no wait, I can. For those times you want to tackle a long country walk or glower in pearls and a shirt with turned up collar. The latter is a Sloane Ranger look that I didn't think had been seen since princess Di circa 1980!

QueenOfTheAndals those culottes! But the sleeveless coat looks like something Queen Margarethe could rock Smile

QueenOfTheAndals · 29/08/2018 18:41

Some photos from Harry and Meghan at Hamilton, although they aren't very clear. She's gone short for the occasion!

Oh my god,not the House of Bruar!!!! My son's former headmistress has one of those long green tweed coats. In fact, everyone around here dresses the HOB full country look. I've resisted so far.

Please will you post the picture of the men in the velvet evening suits?

Oh god. I have a black velvet blazer (from Gap I think). I might never wear it again.

Not sure what to make of Meghan’s dress tonight. I was mistakenly expecting black tie! It’s just a tad too tight.

QueenOfTheAndals · 29/08/2018 19:44

Too tight is not something Meghan usually goes for! It's hard to tell from the photos but it doesn't look tight to me. It's by a Canadian brand so it could be something she had already.

OP posts:
MrsGrindah · 29/08/2018 20:05

Ooh I don’t like her dress at all . I think Meghan wears far too much black and I sorry but her legs are too chickeny to wear something that short. But then again I have legs of a hippo so I have no room to talk..

QueenOfTheAndals · 29/08/2018 20:09

Some better photos of her dress here https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/meghan-shows-legs-arrives-watch-13159779

It cost "only" £500.

OP posts:
lightonthewater · 29/08/2018 20:12

I agree that her legs are too thin and spindly to carry off a hemline this short. I also think she doesn't suit black. Her style seems to be all over the place really. She doesn't seem to know what to go for or what suits her really. I wonder who her stylist is?
