Presumably this is the last week in Scotland for Kate as she has the school run on Monday.

Hiding in a damp, cold, soggy gorse bush? Poor Meghan.

Are there any Dutch here? Would love to know what he Dutch think of Maxima. She dresses so flamboyantly but knows how to rock Tiaras.

They've been lying low but have a gala performance of Hamilton tomorrow night and then two evening engagements next week.

Have they been lying low because of holidays etc or because of Meghan’s father’s verbal diarrhoea?

I'm guessing a mix of both. August is usually a month when the royals aren't seen much as they jet off to places exotic.

Nice work Queen. I love Mary’s dress, nice model and appropriate for everything.

CP Mary looking elegant as ever, good brooch work. Mme Macron suits red.

She has the most amazing gym honed shoulders and deportment.

Marie looks lovely too and the Queen. Wonder why she sat down in the receiving line.

CP Mary is spot on as ever. Love what little we can see of the evening gown too. Same goes for Marie. Not keen on what Mme Macron is wearing though - bit too Star Trek.

It looks too big for her

I think the queen has a bad knee. Love both the ladies in red in the day, especially Mary's brooch.

Loved CPMary's red dress. It is a similar shape to that green Prada one Kate wore to the Diana Memorial thing before we knew she was pregnant with Louis. Really didn't like Brigitte Macron's evening dress. I'm sure it is uber fashionable but those sequined side panels looked weird.

However whilst I was googling to find a better image of her evening dress, I found this picture of Brigitte and Mary in Brussels.

I love everything about Mary's outfit. The pale pink wrap coat; not a bulky fabric. Tied perfectly to show off the navy dress underneath. Then the coordinating (but not matchy matchy) slouchy bag & snakeskin shoes. She looks formal but modern. Perfection!

I love Brigitte Macron's red coat - reminds me of one of my style icons, Catherine Deneuve in Belle de Jour.

Agree with Cornwall though that her evening dress is rather "Cocktail Night in Ten Forward."

Both Mary's outfits are lovely. The black and white rose print is summery and slightly less formal, but then the black sash adds drama to balance it out.

Queen Margrethe's evening dress is magnificent - like an Edwardian Dowager.

Meghan's wedding dress is going on display soon.

Really didn't like either of Mrs Macron's outfits - the red was lovely for work, but too flappy for a formal occasion, and somehow the white/sequin dress didn't look great compared to the other ballgowns. Just my opinion.

Maybe is so coiffed that's why it looks plonked on her head rather than w'wearing' it. Iyswim
