You know that M+S dress Instagram is banging on about this summer?

Apparently it’s amazing, suits everyone, v flattering on all shapes, yadda yadda yadda. Sold out in about 3 seconds earlier this summer. I didn’t like it much but the power of advertising....

Does anyone have it and is it really as good as they say? Help save

I doubt it suits everyone if the model looks a bit frumpy in it...

Ooo I like that apart from the bloody stripe down the side. It looks like you’ve put on weight and had it let out badly.

What is the purpose of the go faster stripe down the side?

I'm not keen in the Freddie Mercury striped trousers that is very popular at the moment.

I quite like the weird stripe.

I can’t be of much help as I disagree with the hype and think it’s awful!
I think it looks silly with the pumps too. I’ve seen a hundred nicer summer dresses.

I wish I could try it on. Couldn’t see it in my local branch.

I’ve seen plenty of it on Instagram and I think it looks nice there but y’know that’s just a probably cleverly taken photo.

Its bloody horrible and the instagrammers are only banging on about it because they’re being paid to. In reality they wouldn’t be seen dead in it.

I like it, but I know that elasticated band will sit right on top of my tummy, accentuating it!!!

Frankies they made a different version with an orangey stripe earlier in the summer. Hang on.

Old version. I didn’t like it much but the flooding of advertising has broken me and I’m considering the newer version.

Not loving the go faster stripe or the fact they have twinned it with pumps. It just looks weird

Not for me though I do like it has pockets!

You would have to be very slim waisted to wear that with all that elastic or else it would ripple , fold and cling, even moreso as it is a very light colour. Not many people over 50 have a slim waist, speaks from experience here, tall size 12-14 fairly slim 60 year old with thickened waistline.

Don’t know the eBay one. Any good?

I have this. It looks awesome on me. It suits my shape (tall, slim, long legged, short backed with boobs). I’m 47.

Whilst wearing it, I got stopped in the street by a 27 year old.
