Apparently it’s amazing, suits everyone, v flattering on all shapes, yadda yadda yadda. Sold out in about 3 seconds earlier this summer. I didn’t like it much but the power of advertising....

The Istagrammers are now banging on about a newer one. It is black or navy and has a stripe down each side. It also comes in a dress. I can’t link I’m afraid.

I just ordered the jumpsuit.

I’ve lost 2 stone over the past year and toned up a bit. I’ve also just got into Instagram. Combination of the two is costing me a fortune!

I collect jumpsuit on Monday. I suspect I’ll look like a munchkin in it but I’m a sucker for Instagram hype.

Wow. My size is now sold out. Seems I’m not the only Instagram sucker!! 🤣

Beware the jumpsuit has an open back! Not even mentioned on the M&S website.

I also have a Instagram influenced dress from Monsoon that I need to return. It looks fine if I adopt an Insta pose against a brick wall but I can’t stay like that all day, so back it goes!

That looks lovely on you OP! I initially disliked it but seeing in the flesh I have changed my mind. I am really tempted to order the jumpsuit, fussy sleeves don't tend to flatter me (suspiciously large shoulders) but they look good on everyone here!

I love this dress, I've got the leopard version. Sadly the navy one is sold out in my size. If anyone has a navy size 12 they don't want, I would love to buy it off you!

I am not brave enough to post a pic but I love the navy - wore it to the pub last night with white flat lace up pumps - a coral cross body bag and denim jacket.
Think it will get worn a lot.

I picked up the navy version on Friday and am really pleased with it - I wish I had got the leopard print though. I’ll wear it with white Stan Smiths and either a denim or leather biker jacket.

I've just picked up the navy one too and I love it. It's so flattering and I hope they bring out some more colours. I never would have found it without this thread so thanks OP. I think the woven viscose is better than jersey viscose for this style of dress because it doesn't cling at all. This is the 3rd surprise success I've had from M&S recently!

It's vile. And I LIKE tea-dressy sort of things, in fact I live in them. The horrible stripe which M&S reviewers are cooing about because it's 'edgy' (WTF? It's a frumpy dress from M&S, it is not edgy) makes it look like some hideous sportswear hybrid. The length is frumpy and would be appalling on someone shorter than the model. The shirred waist might be magic but could so easily not be, and there's no way it's going to work on every length of torso.

Did I mention the stripe?

I did actually buy the MN Flying Squirrel thing and that really IS fab!

Glom That wasn’t a nice post when just above it, people who HAVE bought it have written how much they love it. It might not suit you. It looks great on some of the Istagram influencers. It is not a scarf where one size fits all but no item of clothing is......

I saw someone today wearing it striding through the courtyard of the Royal Academy. She looked really good in it, and the stripe looked ace.
It wouldn't suit me though- I'm about 3 dress sizes bigger than her...
