Laska5772 · 02/05/2018 18:52

Well, I placed a small roder yesterday for the leopard maxi and cropped harems in black but I decided to cancel it; partly to stop my impulse buying but also as the reviews coming in here of the maxi are not the greatest!

I agree I have always had better luck with A/W Hush things and wear them year after year. The faded denim jacket and the utility jacket would also be firm faves. The Ts and summer dresses I have not had as much luck with although I love my Kensington dress.

If there is a code floating around soon I will definitely pick up the star jeans and the cropped harems. Other than that I have my eye on a few things in Zara...

miffy2 · 02/05/2018 19:03

order not roder... :D

Ellapaella · 02/05/2018 19:13

I'm here - have now had another email saying that the refund went through on Monday, rather than last Wed as she first said, so it may not show for another few days'depending on my bank'. Well, usually refunds to my card show within hours, but will wait and see. Because of my changing shape and size, I order and return a lot, so I do keep a running list of returns, and nothing gets ticked off till I actually see the cash. But Hush are at the point of knocking SweatyBetty off the top spot for poor returns - I think I waited for 24 days for a SB refund after Xmas. Although Boden isn't perfect, one of things they have got right is their customer service, and I've also been impressed by zara this week - which given how rude they can be in store, was a surprise!

DavetheCat2001 · 02/05/2018 19:19

If anyone gets/tries on the leopard tee could they report back/ take a pic pretty please?

user1487671808 · 02/05/2018 19:44

Please don’t let’s fall out of love with Hush when I’ve only just found them. I must admit though that I’m finding their summer 28 offer a bit disappointing. I want some cropped harems though because I’m quite tall I worry they’ll look like the pedal pushers I wore in the 80’s, and I very much want the star jeans now I’ve seen them on Ellapaella in the last thread. I like some of their t shirts but not sure if they’re worth £35. I’ve only bought on eBay and John Lewis so far. I’ve been out off buying from the Hush website by all the hassle getting refunds.

Quick question though. I have a pair of harems in a M although I’m a size 10. I think I prefer them to be a bit more slouchy but is this acceptable or should I be buying the small for a slimmer profile?

neveradullmoment99 · 02/05/2018 19:47

I have the hush harems in an xs and they are fine. I am a 10-12 although closer to the 12 in other shops.

neveradullmoment99 · 02/05/2018 19:48

I don't like the look of them baggy personally. If you like the slouchy look, keep them. I just wanted to avoid an Aladdin look.

neveradullmoment99 · 02/05/2018 19:55

And this is why Hush tempts us all:

user1487671808 · 02/05/2018 19:57

But if you don’t wear the harems slouchy do you not get really baggy knees never?

user1487671808 · 02/05/2018 19:59

Might have to have a trying on session in JL again and ask for some honest opinions. I have a tendency to buy my clothes too big, no reason really I’ve never been really big or anything.

neveradullmoment99 · 02/05/2018 20:02

Well I haven't worn them yet. I bought the cropped ones. They look similar to my amie joggers which are also an xs. I don't like lots of material. I like them to be slim with a bit of slouch.

neveradullmoment99 · 02/05/2018 20:03

They are a bit slimmer than the model but not super tight.

neveradullmoment99 · 02/05/2018 20:05

I think you could easily get away with the small or xs. I think a medium would be pretty big.

ilovecherries · 02/05/2018 20:07

Never, you are so right with that video! I haven't really fallen out with them - everything I've kept, I love (but probably have sent about 50-70% back. It's only their refunds that piss me off, and that seems fairly recent. I think I will buy from JL for a bit. Although I could be bribed back with a code...

Ellapaella · 02/05/2018 20:08

Laska how do I ask mumsnet to amend the title? Can't work it out on the app!

Laska5772 · 02/05/2018 20:09

User48etc (hope you change your name soon so we can get to 'know'you! ).

The last pairs of harems I n bought were a n S . I'am 5'5 and sz 12 on bottom,
but have found the sizes recently can g be a bit variable , my navy ones bought last Autumn are an M but in fact just the same size as my Olive ones in S

Laska5772 · 02/05/2018 20:13

ella report your first post I think ! the it will have a message box to fil in.

I did laugh at your title ... they s do seem to be going a bit downhill Atm but not quite 'Shita' yet ! .Grin

Ellapaella · 02/05/2018 20:13

user I am a size 10 and I have harems in a small, this is me in them, they aren’t too baggy which I prefer.
