Here we go again... A merry whirl of things of things that smell delicious (and sometimes not).

Have really enjoyed Noontide Petals today, kept getting lovely fizzy wafts of it all day. Now back home and had a couple of spritzes of Rhubarb & Citrus. What an expert blend this is - sharp, fresh yet sweet with a depth I wouldn't expect from a cologne. Great stuff.

Have seen on instagram that the 30ml bottles of the crowdfunders are on their way...cannot wait to try them!

Is anyone up for another Big Sniff-style adventure? I've been eyeing up the Green sample pack from Bloom - only £15 for 9 samples...would be more fun to test it alongside someone else, though.

Hello, I've been mia from the perfume threads for a while My mojo has been very absent, all of my things are just....meh. I did get a bottle if o de Lancôme in the chazza for six quid the other day,so that's my school perfume for the summer. But summer is just so hard for those who like the old churches and old ladies handbag vibe. I've even gone off my precious Maison Margiela untitled. I want something metallic and austere, nice and cool, the olefactory equivalent of a grey linen dress. Preferably cheap. ☺️

The Smoke and Tar pack looks great pest, but I already have two of the samples...I do like them though so could be persuaded to top up!

All the sample packs look pretty good value though, tbh.

I would be up for joining in sample testing. The green one for preference but could have a go at the smoke one (it’s out of my comfort zone but could be fun!)

Hi, “ohwhat, nice to see you back. mrsR* you have prompted me to go for RG tomorrow. I forget how much I love it until I wear it, if that makes sense, but it’s one that I have always had a bottle on the go for about 20 years. There are few things that I replace as soon as they are empty.

Got it already. Actually, green tea is one I've never worn. I may think about that. I nearly fell down the rabbit hole that is Nose. There's some very expensive and unknown scents on there.

Went shopping today and was very unsuccessful. Finally went to an M&S with a decent perfume selection so tested Gingembre which I've been wanting to try for ages. I didn't like it ! Had a look in TKMaxx and didn't buy House of Fragrancs Honeysuckle (it was cheap, I probably should have bought it) or ELDO Noel au Balcon (which I was severely tempted by but too expensive for a blind buy). I'm building up to a Hush order but really I should be not spending so I can cover some of the new house purchases. Sigh. When we move house I'm going to explode and spent a small fortune on playroom furniture I think.

I've bought the Green pack - and the Beach Memories pack too . 20 brand-new samples for £35 though, could be worse.

So if you want to join me in trying the Green pack, coffee?

Yep that sounds fab unnecessary fennel will order it tomorrow. countfosco I bought the honeysuckle the other day. It is nice and quite true to the real scent but doesn’t last very long. It was cheap though. Our tkmax doesn’t have ELDO !

Not been in my local TKMaxx for ages MrsL - just looking online(There's an Annick Goutal on there at the mo). Eau D'Ambre, Seville A L'Aube (if I've remembered that...) and Noir Exquis caught my eye on paper...

Always read that as Noel au Bacon. Wouldn't put it past ELDO!

Seville a L'Aube is worth nabbing. Huge orange blossom and beeswax with incense underneath.

Also...has anyone worn anything by Ineke? Have had my eye on Field Notes From Paris for a while and am quite tempted by a reasonably-priced sample set here but reviews on Fragrantica are a bit mixed.

I'm game for another Big Sniff UF and can recommend the Luca Turin inspired pack.

Excellent, I'll start a Big Sniff Mk II thread for the Bloom Greens sample pack. We could aim for starting next Sunday 13th May but given that it's a bank holiday we might have to push it back to the week after.
