Lots of L'A's Patchouli Patch in TK Maxx at the moment Count. Shazam! would work really well too? Would even cheer you up if it rained.

Am very jealous Fennel - to see PS on multiple occasions is v cool.

I'll be glad when this week's over tbh...ds1 started his GCSE mocks today. I'm doing 2 extra shifts at work, taking mum to Drs tomorrow, voluntary group meetings, ds2 is going on a residential (his first) and feeling anxious....sigh...

I do admire festival going families - I don't have the energy to shepherd children at something like that. I barely have the energy for a normal gig to be fair - last time I really got into it I felt like I'd broken half my ribs the day after!!

SotD has been the glorious Scenthusiasm. This, to me, is the most "proper" 4160s scent if that makes any sense.

Also had the fun of the arrival of a guilty pleasure... ordered some Kylie Jenner lip kits at the beginning of May when she had a buy-one-get-one-free offer on and after some delivery shenanigans they finally came today. Not out tonight but am now sat in the house with a fabulously red lip just 'cause.

I did a few festivals with ds when he was little but only in a big group with lots of other families, so we could all take turns in shepherding . Great fun really and I feel a wee bit sad that those days are probably over now...ds would have been mortified to have seen me singing, whooping and dancing along to Patti last night!

Anyway...back to perfume. Have been wearing Panorama today from the Big Sniff - not loving it. Think tonight will be a long bath and something vanilla-ry.

I’m currently sitting here in Bendelirious (Eldo) Googling family friendly festivals This fragrance is quite gorgeous actually- very strong cherry top notes and a bit tarry/smokey and drying down to a leathery iris.

I’ve been using Gousto this past week to inspire me to cook new recipes. It’s been great actually even though I won’t continue long term. I’ll save the cards and source my own cheaper ingredients. Only £17.50 for 4 recipes for 2 people (also feeds our little one who is loving the food!). If anyone wants a code to get this deal, let me know x

Actually the Bendelirious is going a bit strange- it’s starting to smell like the remnants of a sticky, fruity cocktail. Feeling the urge to scrub!

SOTD is Rive Gauche. A crappy Monday, but I did get wine and chocolates from a student, so swings and roundabouts.

My friend came round to see me yesterday, and I was wearing Scenthusiasm. I could no longer smell it on me, as it had been about 3-4 hours since I'd sprayed it, but she kept telling me how wonderful I smelt! So it's good to know that others could smell it, but such a shame that I couldn't!

Tom Ford Santal blush - at airport waiting for flight (work not pleasure). Nice enough. Tried Neroli Portofino (with a view to signing up to scent addict) doesn’t smell good on my skin. Went a bit acidic and sour.

Avoided the Chanel exclusifs so I don’t accidentally walk away with buying a 15ml bottle of Bois de iles for £120! I need to pay for holibobs.

I think neroli portofino smells like mouthwash...

I like coromandel but it's not FB worthy for me

Acqua Di Parma Cedro today. Umm - it’s nice but a bit masculine and generically woody. I bought it last week along with the fig and the bergamot which I love. But got muddled up between cedar and cypress which I adore.
Totally incidentally I watched love island for the first time last night. Left me totally perplexed at the utter vacuity of the Barbies and Action men. Anyone else utterly puzzled by the appeal of this programme? I felt really sorry for the doc.who seemed to not fit in at all and was totally sidelined by both sexes.

SOTD Next Just Pink for a day which will mostly consist of laundry after yet another family member down with the stomach bug which will just not go!

Teta, are you me? I could have written the same words about Love Island. DS insisted on me watching it with him, and we were in stitches; mainly very happy that the first Physics exam wasn't catastrophic.

SotD London to Mumbai. Brilliant for the weather, normally this is a like but today it is FB consideration (If I did not already have soooo many).

Fennel, I can keep wearing Feu Follet thanks to you! I love it, and have to stop reaching for the spray automatically. It is in the very short list for an FB, with Rhubarb and Citrus (the only candidates).

Who Knew wasn't for me (although it sounded perfect), so I do hope it gives you a thrill. Skin chemistry is too personal to predict.
