OC - you've got me back thinking about leather again, so SotN has been a squirt of Skin on Skin. Read a review of this last night and the penny dropped that this is leather-based. (Just like last week's, " I don't who I thought Flora was" moment - was that you Fennel? ).

I've made a couple of things with leather - it's such a difficult and interesting note. It's shouting in your face virtually until it disappears. Tiny sweet spot (for my taste anyway). The Feu Follet pairing with coriander is genius.

Darn it, MrsL, I have been tempted by Tokyo MIlk for ages and now I neeeeeed the 10ml Truth rollerball in my life

SotD MG Lemon. This is becoming my go to perfume for work. Wish I'd bought 100ml rather than just 50ml.

That's the one I fancied Fennel - blood orange, vanilla and cedar. Wonder if it's pencil shavings cedar or shrill cedar?

SOTD is...Who Knew? I really do like this. It's a pretty full-on, smoky rose, there's something quite candied and edible about it too. Should keep me going all day!

Been off thread for a while, as extremely busy period at work. Back to say 'hello', though. I think I may have missed two whole Perfumista threads .

I haven't bought any perfume since early April ( massive achievement for me ), and I have finally got around to ebaying some of the stuff I never wear, which has been cathartic (and good for my bank balance).

Been very dull on the perfume front lately, as can't face anything too strong once the weather warms up. Have rediscovered my love for D&G Light Blue and have also been reaching for the much maligned Chanel Gabrielle, which is an easy-to-reach-for office scent on days when I'm feeling uninspired. But I really miss my 'winter' fragrances. Have been going to bed in Samsara a lot to make up for it .

SOTD is a layering of YSL Paris Premieres Roses and the Body Shop's mountain atlas rose thingummy (never remember proper name).

Hope youre all well and fragrant anyway. I'll have a trawl through what I've missed at home later on...

p.s. I have 100mls of MG Lemon, sprayed once. Not sure about it, to be honest (although love Plum).

Count the Noel au Balcon arrived and I absolutely love it. Spiced honey, oranges and vanilla, should be cloying and heavy but it's actually quite light and friendly. Thank you for the lovely Travalo as well!

I'm sorry I've been so rubbish at getting to the PO - I know others are also waiting on packages too but events have just overtaken me this week - I am going to try and nip out in my lunchbreak tomorrow.

Don't post the bottle tops! Had a sniff of Empreinte. Suspect the Courreges bottle tops may have provided design inspiration for MG - but flimsy in comparison.

Hello fragrant ones, have been Mia as was poorly, then off camping and lost my perfume mojo a bit. It's back now though, and tonight I went to the 4160s workshop in Manchester which was fab. Got a bit of catching up to do on the thread now!
