Here we go again... A merry whirl of things of things that smell delicious (and sometimes not).

I’m wearing white queen. Had forgotten about the wedding (have a baby with a cold who has been up all night) so pulled the first 4160 I came to this morning. It’s gorgeous and a very unusual gourmande. Hope everyone has a lovely day whatever you are up to.

Never mind the dress, do we know what Perfume Meghan will be wearing? I’m in Illuminum White Gardenia Petals in honour of Kate. I think Meghan will have a signature Perfume she’ll wear.

I would love to know what perfume she chose! Apparently the Telegraph on Sunday has the "inside scoop", shameless promotion on the BBC coverage today.

As a proud republican I thought it was utterly beautiful 😁
They had the hymn lord of all hopefulness and we had at our wedding and guide me o thou great redeemer which we had at my dad's funeral so I will admit to a little weep (blush)
We also had schuberts ave Maria during the signing of the register
So all in all i think harry and mehgan showed excellent taste 🤣
Her dress was lovely and veil beautiful.
Loved the American bishop! And the gospel choir.

I thought it was great, very modern for the Royal family. Loved the preacher - the passion in his speech was refreshing for a royal wedding.

Sote is Phaedon Tabac Rouge - honey, cinnamon, ginger and not much else. On me, this smells cheap, this would smell lovely on a mature man.....
Maybe George Clooney? (he's in my head from the wedding)

Positivepineapple - bizarrely george clooney is also in my head as the "man" on which certain things would smell good when im trying out scents. Like hes an archetype. Must a whole generayion of women for whom GC is the man!

Butterfly - imagine having a private perfumer. Orange blossom and ginger sounds great with the simple dresses and sunshine.

SotD is Gardens of Temptation Tenderness. This is the second perfume I've had from this house. It's a sweetpea soliflore and is cheap as chips (£15 for 55ml). Suspect it won't last long but for that price I can cope. Bloom have travel sets of the GoT set and I'm quite tempted to get one. 3x15ml for £19 sounds OK doesn't it.

Count, the Brocards are incredible value and I definitely want to explore the full range.

I lost my perfume mojo over the last few weeks, as I have been away on holiday followed, unfortunately, by a really nasty head cold and chest infection, no doubt caught from a fellow traveller. I haven’t felt as ill as that for many years. But I’m feeling better this weekend and enjoyed the Big Sniff today. 😊

I took delivery of the 4160 Tuesdays crowdfunding perfumes yesterday, so will be looking forward to trying those.

SOTD is Gucci Bloom

SOTD is JHAG Mad Madame. I like this much more today than I did the first time I wore it. It's quite a spiky metallic rose on me, which is good. The reviews on fragrantica are pretty ott though.

Fleur du matin is Sotd. I need to sort through my perfumes as some have gone missing, especially my Cristalle. On the other hand I’ve found several others I’d forgotten about.

Rose silence SOTD. The free sample from a magazine: pleasing enough but not enough for a full bottle

I know someone who has worn this scent EXCLUSIVELY for about 35 years :)

Of course I've never been able to wear it myself, but i do associate it with a dear dear friend.

Dior dune today. This os proving to be as satisfying as i hoped. Fb from tkmaxx - been on my want list for a while.

SOTD Rome 1963. I love the tobacco note in this but I do worry slightly that I smell as if I've had a sneaky fag then tried to cover it with perfume.

Sock I've not forgotten your Feu Follet, just not made it to the post office yet, sorry!

SOTD Chanel Coco Mademoiselle. It’s a cold and dull day here, with some tedious admin tasks so comfort scent is needed.
