Here we go again... A merry whirl of things of things that smell delicious (and sometimes not).

SOTD is Diptyque Philosykos after all the fig chat. I also need to get decanting stuff, I promise I haven’t forgotten, just a super tight month.

On that front, DP has a Skype interview tomorrow - the manager he’d report to if he got the job is based abroad. (He worked for this company as a contractor a few years ago, so I feel vaguely optimistic.)

SotD Polemo Paradis. Even though this is as citrussy as they come, it almost feels more wintery because in the heat it feels like slightly too much (for 5he short while it lasts!).

SOTD is currently L'eau De L' Artisan. very fresh, herbal and green. perfect for the mugginess we have at present.

And this is why I need to stop reading this thread, I just keep adding things to my 'must try' list.

Morning all! Dull damp old day here, so thought I'd go for Naomi Goodsir Bois d'Ascese. Hmmm - not a great choice this morning, far too strong, woody and smoky, felt totally overpowering. So scrubbed and sprayed Cuir Velours instead - soft, sweet suede. Phew! BdA is undoubtedly a good perfume but crikey, you really have to feel in the mood for taking it on. That's part of what I love about her stuff though - personality a-go-go and none of them could ever be accused of being 'transparent'

More smoke today, but it's Beaver that is SoTD as the chainsaws are back out! I like this, but it doesn't last particularly well on me, or maybe that's the effect of housework.

What a name for a Perfume- doesn’t remind me of the moon really, it’s sweet, girly. Reminds me a bit of skin on skin but sweeter amber, a soft Tuberose. Good job I like it as I’m doused in it having had the little vial slip in my hands when applying it

Fingers crossed Judy. SOTD Premier Figuier- sample arrived the other day and so far it is utterly delightful! Creamy and figgy and a little nutty too.

SOTD for a trip to the Garden Centre is Iris Cedre. I decanted some into a little atomiser so I could spray it.

DH has two expensive stag parties coming up. As I shall be left holding the fort, whilst he spends lots of money getting drunk in the sun, I have instructed him that I expect Iris Cedre and Amande from the duty free. I think this is reasonable.

Someone tell me I don't need a vintage miss Dior...
