I really don’t “get” Meghan Markle’s style choices

So she wore this yesterday.
I like the jacket, bag & shoes. Dress, not keen, to me, it looks like something from H&M. Then the cross body bag & jacket on shoulders. To me, she looks untidy.
Maybe I should accept that I am officially middle aged. But this is not how I expect someone soon to be in the Royal Family to dress.
To be fair to her, she has definitely smartened up Harry. So I guess she knows what she is doing.... I just can’t see it

I love her, she's always appropriate and formal, but less boring than Kate.
I have like 37 tabs open and half of them are strathberry handbags she has etc that I will never be able to afford to buy!!!!
I'm full on going to be glued to the Telly on Royal wedding day.
Albeit i think it's niggling that women just get judged on their appearance but then I think .....PRINCESS

Yes that shiny mustard floral thing she wore in Sweden. It didn’t do her any favours. I think Kate really suits delicate chiffon / slightly sparkly evening wear. She always looks fantastic in Jenny Packham here or here

Black dress is great : she should have worn different shoes though. Ankle straps don't suit anyone, really.

I like the way she dresses and really like that outfit she had on this evening.

Also though I couldn't look less like her if I tried I have the same twig-like ankles that she does which - I have noticed - she cleverly tries to disguise with those ankle-strap shoes she seems so fond of. Reminds me I should try an ankle-strap as they do create the illusion of less scrawniness.

I happen to think she's a very stunning-looking woman but I also like her confidence. She has, let's face it, compared to most of the royals, some star quality and I don't think she's faking the warmth (not being rude but I don't think she's a good enough actress to do that).

She's young, attractive, in the public eye. People will be interested in her style choices and she knows it, otherwise why would she go to the considerable effort I'm sure she does? I like to think she's got enough confidence to not care if EVERYONE loves her style. Certainly she dresses in a way that suggests she has confidence in abundance, and it's always nice to see confidence in a young woman if you ask me.

Kate has never looked better than this in my opinion, and it’s by Jenny Packham, I thought she looked sensational.

God, a pregnant Kate still looks perfect. MM has no taste. None.

I’m getting quite excited about the wedding now. Of course there will be Meghans Dress, but there will probably be a few suits colleagues, and of course Kate, who will no doubt look amazing despite having a newborn

I'm glad it's not just me who think this. Definitely the nose/mouth area.

I think they are both gorgeous women with lovely smiles and I like the fact that they are both comfortable in their own style. Also like the fact that they are quite different.
Kate always was a bit sloany but it suits her.
Meghan is a bit more fashionably on trend, although I was not keen on the dress she wore yesterday. She usually looks fab.
I hope the 2 couples have a great relationship behind closed doors and have a good laugh at what the Daily Fail puts out there.

I think she generally looks stunning. Agree with others that she needs to have things tailored a bit more sometimes - I wonder whether some of it is down to not having a full team around her yet. I tried to buy her M&S jumper with the big sleeves but it had sold out. Would love to know who does her hair as someone with the same hair type as her.

Can't wait to see the wedding outfits and as a massive Suits fan I'm looking forward to seeing the guests as well.

I think Kate is beautiful but obviously a bit more constrained with what she can wear - some of the coat and matching day dress ensembles are really frumpy, but she does evening wear extremely well (recent Erdem number notwithstanding)

Princess Charlene of Monaco manages to look elegant without looking frumpy.

I much prefer Meghan's clothing choices to Kate's.

Couldn't disagree with the above more. I think MM has more of a European style.

She has made the odd mistake (that engagment announcement white coat swamped her) but on the whole she looks great, classy and chic. Loved the safari style shirt dress she wore recently
