I really don’t “get” Meghan Markle’s style choices

So she wore this yesterday.
I like the jacket, bag & shoes. Dress, not keen, to me, it looks like something from H&M. Then the cross body bag & jacket on shoulders. To me, she looks untidy.
Maybe I should accept that I am officially middle aged. But this is not how I expect someone soon to be in the Royal Family to dress.
To be fair to her, she has definitely smartened up Harry. So I guess she knows what she is doing.... I just can’t see it

The jacket in shoulders thing was weird as was the cross body bag and the sleeveless dress a bit odd. I think she often looks a bit thrown together. She is probably tiny but has a tricky figure to dress slightly rectangular body and skinny very long legs.

OP you should feel at home at the Daily Mail perhaps you should comment on there?

Let's face it, she would look good in most things really.

Most public figures dress uninterestingly. Think of the way the duchess of Cambridge dresses.

I like a lot of her choices. Especially nice to see her wearing trousers and she has brought a few different brands to my attention. BUT I think shoulder robing looks ridiculous on anyone, MM included.

I meant to add Meghan looks very pretty. She has a beautiful wide smile like Julia Roberts and gorgeous skin.
I personally don't particularly like her fashion style but it's ok.
Kate has worn a few horrors of evening dresses lately - I'm thinking that awful floral Erdem gown.
