Do I wear too much make up? **Pic attached**

I’ve had some people comment lately that I wear too much make up so I’m after honest opinions please? I’ll be reporting asking for the picture to get deleted soon but just want a few opinions first. I love wearing makeup and enjoy doing it and don’t feel it looks too much but maybe I’m not seeing it objectively. Thank you.

You are so beautiful.

RoseWhiteTips · 06/04/2018 14:06

Haven’t seen the full make up pic but I do think your eyebrows are too thick.

Tantpoke · 06/04/2018 14:06

Or Mac eyshadow in the colour mystery which is less glittery.

blueskyinmarch · 06/04/2018 14:10

I saw your original photo and now have seen the most recent two and of them all i think you look the most lovely in your no make up one. You look fresh, young, natural and healthy. You really don't need all that foundation. It seems to erase a lot of your own special loveliness i think.

Springtrolls · 06/04/2018 14:18

You look really good without make up.
Are you contouring your nose?

iMatter · 06/04/2018 14:26

You look about 18 now 😊

TatianaLarina · 06/04/2018 14:33

You look fantastic in the new makeup pic, much younger and fresher.

Your eyebrows are perfect, ignore anyone who says otherwise.

TravellingTulip · 06/04/2018 14:37

Thanks all!

Are you contouring your nose? nope, there's nothing on my nose except foundation. Should I be contouring it?

Contouring always looks dreadful.

You look lovely in both pics. Could you post the full make up one again for those that missed it?

Ignore the comment about too think eyebrows, they look like normal eyebrows.

LooksBetterWithAFilter · 06/04/2018 14:42

I haven’t seen the first full make up picture so have nothing to compare it to but the no make up and light make up you are lovely. You have lovely skin and you look very young in the no make up picture. I find too much make up ages a person me included. My sister wear me a mask of make up and she looks older than she does without it. Like I said I never seen the first pic but the last two you posted you look amazing. With my skin looked as good as yours.

oxcat1 · 06/04/2018 14:45

Totally agree: gorgeous!! I think you actually look fantastic in the 'no makeup' picture too as I like the tones in your skin. So, for me, the less, the better.

But you are totally stunning!

TatianaLarina · 06/04/2018 14:50

Contouring is really only for photos or nightclubs. In daylight it looks bizarre.

DairyisClosed · 06/04/2018 15:08

I've always been on the make us correction not an enhancement camp. If your skin is blemished, your lashes too pale etc then fine but beyond covering up flaws it is too much. But that is purely my opinion. So long as you are happy with what you look like that is all that matters. There will always be someone who think you wear too much unless you don't wear any at all.

Beautifullymixed · 06/04/2018 15:32

Lovely OP!

I do like my eyeliner though, so I do think the flick you did with the eyeliner (in the first picture) would emphasise your eyes beautifully.
Just don't apply lots of eyeshadow for a day time look.
Just eyeliner and mascara for eyes - the rest is beautiful. Smile

Tantpoke · 06/04/2018 15:42

OP it's a massively different response from your first picture which is great, what have people IRL said to you about your new look.

If they haven't really noticed then it just means it really wasn't that bad in the first place.

A change is always good esp if it makes you look fresher, brighter and younger.

Greenyogagirl · 06/04/2018 15:44

Was hoping to see some really over made up photos but I can only see the last 2.
No make up is so beautiful and fresh, you look about 18 and I can imagine you advertising some health product!
Minimal make up is stunning too, I’d say makes you look about 21-23.
Make up is fun but embrace your natural beauty Smile

Also how did you lose weight, I’m struggling and wish I could contour my entire body!

BanyanTree · 06/04/2018 15:52

I didn't see your 1st photo made up. In your second, natural photo I think you look really nice. Your 3rd is also FAB too.

swimminginthesea · 06/04/2018 15:54

I can't see your original photo, where is it?! But you look lovely in the last one - pretty and fresh-faced. Amazing skin!

BusterGonad · 06/04/2018 15:57

You look great, I do like the less make up look, I think the first photo kind off hid your cute features. I would say for a more made up look you'd look lovely in a juicy shade of lipstick and maybe a winged eyeliner look. I'm also loving the new foundation. Your skin looks great.

BusterGonad · 06/04/2018 15:58

Just to add I'm a make up fiend and go all out myself! (When I do wear it) 😂

LadyTesticlee · 06/04/2018 16:42

Op you look way younger and prettier in natural minimal make up. You are very good looking anyway and i get enjoying heavier look for fun or a change. In your case make up is definitely optional as youre naturally pretty.

BlondeB83 · 06/04/2018 16:49

What colour is your lipstick? I love it!

CountFosco · 06/04/2018 17:01

Here is me with no makeup 🙈 it's not a pretty sight so I'll be asking for it to come down very soon!

You are absolutely gorgeous and really young looking with no makeup on. I'm really hoping you saying 'it's not a pretty sight' is just false modesty because I would hate to think someone as pretty as you are and with such lovely skin thinks your naked face is not acceptable for public view.

I like your new makeup photo as well, it looks so much better than before and we see YOU rather than the makeup.

ShirlySue · 06/04/2018 17:04

You look great in both pics. First one great for a night out, second one a beautiful every day look. I wish I looked as good as you with minimal makeup...

TravellingTulip · 06/04/2018 18:19

Thanks everyone. You've made me feel a million times better about embracing the skin I'm in. I've never had much self confidence so I genuinely feel awful without makeup on but I'll try to keep reminding myself of all the lovely things you've all said. My husband likes the new makeup so that's a bonus Smile although I think I will stick with having my false lashes done (subtle ones) purely because my lashes are very very short. I really appreciate you all taking the time to give me your help & advice Smile
