Kate's dress - Stockholm visit

I think she normally dresses very well but this looks like her suitcase was lost in transit and somebody in the Palace in Stockholm very kindly offered to run her up a dress from curtains ( a la The Sound of Music ) that they were donating to a charity shop.

Interestingly earlier in the day her Swedish counterpart was in a very floral number.

Victoria is Prince Charles's counterpart, and one of several European female heirs to the throne. She is very educated and accomplished.

Queen - yes you're right in the literal sense. I meant her counterpart in the fashion stakes - nobody's starting threads or taking photos of what the men are wearing!

While I'm glad to see she's wearing something a bit different I think that is absolutely hideoous. I bet it cost a fortune but it looks like something off a market. The valance frill at the bottom is particularly nasty and cheap-looking

Have just looked at today's pictures. I like Kate's houndstooth coat except for the spacing of the buttons - they look to me slightly like extra nipples when they are spaced at that width. Like the maroon bag and shoes (and actually would have preferred that bag to the one she carried yesterday with the green coat) but not the gloves. I would love to see that outfit with narrower buttons and white gloves eg: Anne Hathaway in Devil Wears Prada

William looks too informal for Kate today. I like Prince Daniel's look but feel like the coat should be slightly longer. Love Princess Victoria's salmon coat, not sure about the rest.

Glad to see her try something different but she looked a bit overdressed compared to the rest of them.

She looked so tired and kissed off in the fugly dress photos. She definitely wanted to be home in her pjs eating chocolate.

That coat is totally a nipple coat. I liked Princess Victoria’s pink one though.

She should stick to her signature style which is classic shifts, tailored for her pregnanacy. She is so slim, that she is probably wearig a size 12, non maternity erdem, but the proportions are just not flattering

Oof that blue dress is not good. I like CPV's red blouse and black skirt though. I just read that she suffers from face blindness, which must be quite a hindrance in her role.
