Watching the movie 'table 19' and Anna Kendricks red cardigan spoke to me..I don't usually do red but the next day I went out and got one from Debenhams and it's a refreshing change from my normal look which has got some items of clothing I have had for over ten years..(or longer )

What movie stars outfits have you fallen in love with? Feel free to post pics!

Also love the Uma Thurman Pulp fiction look and tried to recreate many times. Even had the hairstyle for a bit. Sadly I am much fatter and look nothing like.

I’ve lusted after Julia Roberts Notting Hill silk jacket too.

I’m also loving the outfits in Bette and Joan if anyone watched that.

Also Diane Keaton in Something’s Gotta Give. It was mostly white shirts and T shirts but I wanted the house more than anything.

Every single second of Cate Blanchett in 'Carol'. Hair, make up, nails, clothes and accessories to DIE for! She has never looked more glorious, and that's really saying something

I remember when that first came out. I was 19 and went full on Mia Wallace Had the haircut and knock off Rouge Noir and everything. Drew the line at the heroin overdose though.

I absolutely adore the clothes worn by Kate Winslet in Titanic. I especially love the first outfit she wears when boarding and the red dress when she first meets Jack when she's threatening to jump.

The green dress Grace wears in Peaky Blinders

Kristen Scott Thomas clothes in Four weddings. Especially the huge hats!
Also everything Vivienne Leigh wore in Gone With the Wind ( esp. the red dress! Saw the post earlier!)
The red shoes from the wizard of Oz.

Everything Catherine Deneuve wore in belle in belle du jour and la chamade. Gorgeous clothes by Yves saint laurent. we just came back from marrakesh and have been to the Yves saint laurent museum , a section was dedicated to Catherine and many sketches of the costumes she wore on films were on display ,stunning!

Kristen Scott Thomas in anything! She always looks amazing.

Audrey Tatou especially in priceless and Cate Blanchett in blue jasmine where apparently she styled herself.

To emulate these looks I need a completely different body, budget and approach to grooming.

The photo doesn't do it justice (and it's an awful film) but I LOVE Carries dress in SATC2 when she goes for dinner with Aiden, just beautiful.

Also love all the Clueless outfits and the green dress worn by Keira Knightly in Atonement.

All that cashmere was gorgeous! It also made me want to update my winter wardrobe from jeans and Converse, though I'm not sure the stiletto boots would be practical for my commute!

In telly, I enjoy the costuming in "Mrs Maisel" and "Legion" a LOT.

I LOVE Carries dress in SATC2 when she goes for dinner with Aiden, just beautiful.

It's a stunning dress and I also loved the full skirt and J'adore Dior tshirt she's wearing when she meets him in the souk. SJP wore some amazing outfits in the final season of SATC too - that massive dress she falls asleep in in Paris, the striped outfit she's wearing when she gets there, the flapper-inspired dress she wears for her date with The Russian.

There's lots of amazing gowns etc that I could name but for stuff that is actually wear in real life, I really liked Kirsten Wiig's outfits in Bridesmaids. The minidresses with short blazers and striped tops with skinny jeans had me rushing to the high street in the hope of recreating her look!

Devil Wears Prada was great for outfits that are high-end but still wearable, and never fails to cheer me up.

Forgot to add one - the “Hitchcock Blondes” especially Tippi Hedren in The Birds.

Madonna’s shoes in desperately seeking Susan, always wanted a pair!

Useless information alert: The first time we went to New York I tracked down that shop in Desperately Seeking Susan where she swops the jacket for those boots. God knows how I did it as this was early 90s so must have been pre-Google, but anyway it was as amazing in real life as it looked in the film and I found a lovely 1960s velvet coat, which I've still got. Sadly, the last time we went it had closed down.
