I am on the hunt for a deep chestnut pair of pull on calf length boots.

Anyone seen anything decent?

Also what is up with Toast this year?

Love those jigsaw boots ladies, I can't walk in a heel that high Sad

Sunbeam18 · 08/08/2017 23:45

Damn you Olivander, you just made me buy those Jigsaw boots in cranberry! £44!! Bargain of the century. I LOVE them!

phoolani · 08/08/2017 23:46

I WANT EVERYTHING IN COS JUST LIKE I DO EVERY SEASON!
I am even starting to bore myself.

Floisme · 09/08/2017 07:20

Jemand thanks for the Toast link. I really like that coat but the shape looks A line rather than straight up and down. I have absolutely no need of another woollen coat (it rains most of the winter round here so they're pretty useless) so I'm determined to only buy if I find exactly what I'm after. I'll check out All Saints in a few weeks too.

And apples thanks for the tip re the Autograph sizing. I'll try some on this week. M&S collection also have a khaki one that caught my eye although not tried yet. It's funny how midi length trenchcoats looked dated for years and now suddenly I really want one Grin

Ollivander84 · 09/08/2017 09:15

Sunbeam -oops Blush but they are a bargain!

Donostia · 09/08/2017 09:42

I am coveting this tweed coat and bottle green jumper from the JW Anderson collaboration with Uniqlo. If someone could go and stroke it and feed back on its level of scratchiness before I pay hefty intl delivery fees that would be marvellous!

I also got the Ash boots in the sale, about a decade behind the fashiony folk but they're my second pair now and I find them so comfortable and go-with-anything easy.

Can anyone recommend a cheaper boot similar to the Ash boot?

amimadtoconsiderthis2017 · 09/08/2017 09:48

I bought the Valverde Botas boots (following the thread on here) a while back but then it got warm before I got a chance to wear them, so looking forward to wearing them.

All I need new is ankle boots

BadlyDrawnBuoy · 09/08/2017 09:48

Tentomidnight & XiCi - this dress is spendy but it's a regular Westwood style so you may be able to find older / second hand on sale sites or Ebay

Love, love, love autumn clothes! I want things in soft green and soft russet. (I used to have the most gorgeous tea dress from miss Selfridge when. I was younger... regret the day I have that away! (oh hormones))
Jem can you share your Pinterest board, or is it outing?

thepatchworkcat · 09/08/2017 10:12

Ooooh I love autumn and autumn clothes. Want new boots. Did someone say corduroy is coming back? I lived in cords in the 90s/early 2000s!

Squashit · 09/08/2017 10:21

Although they are suede (so impractical) I am currently lusting after these Fatface boots. Now Fatface is not normally my thing- has anyone got these and if so are they good quality?

I got the Vivienne Westwood Gaia cape at massive discount a few months ago and am so excited at the thought of wearing it in September

Dailystuck71 · 09/08/2017 10:46

I'd like a coatigan. Sounds naff but I am office, car, walk, people's homes and a coat is just a pain. I'd like something knee length, cosy that I can wear with a scarf and look good. Too early to look though I think.

I also need new knee high black boots.

Ollivander84 · 09/08/2017 10:48

I got a coatigan from Sainsbury's last year and it's lovely

AsMuchUseAsAMarzipanDildo · 09/08/2017 10:59

Would love that MintVelvet dress in colours other than black.

I'm looking for the perfect parka... knee length, khaki (more yellow than green), fur hood. I figured there would be loads around for Autumn but guess they're out of fashion Blush

Mitchell50 · 09/08/2017 11:25

I LOVE this cost and it is in the sale - think I might have to invest, despite already having 2 parkas...

AsMuchUseAsAMarzipanDildo · 09/08/2017 11:32

Ooh! You are officially amazing. It might not have a furry hood but the colour and cut are perfect, thank you!

LilaoftheGreenwood · 09/08/2017 11:45

Oh Donostia that is gorgeous, I will go and stroke it! Will set myself a calendar reminder for 19 September "Stroke coat for someone on the internet".

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 09/08/2017 11:58

I've got a Parka London fur hooded coat and love it.

There's not much I currently fancy, except for the things I always want in A/W and have never yet found the absolutely perfect versions of:

  • grey, deep v neck cashmere jumper that is long and slouchy enough but that doesn't drown me and make me look enormous
  • deep red/burgundy skirt, ideally midi length

I maybe fancy a deep jewel coloured printed pencil skirt, possibly paisley and possibly velvet; also a printed mini skirt, possibly gold.

I need a handbag - black, but I want silver hardware not gold and ideally dirty silver.

Finally, I want some tan shoes but not sure what kind yet.

Hairq · 09/08/2017 12:01

That uniqlo teeed coat is gorgeous! Although I am not convinced about their weird ATM belts. How much is it?

dudsville · 09/08/2017 12:04

I'm a fan of all the seasons bit I did buy a roomy, lose turtle neck, wool jumper, and a thick cotton "old man" cardigan. Looking forward to wearing those again! I also bought a great pair of timberland knee high grippy sole bits last year.

SukiTheDog · 09/08/2017 13:35

I'd love a proper Camel coloured 3/4 cocoon coat. I had one years ago and wore it til it fell apart. Never been able to replace it.

Squashit · 09/08/2017 13:55

suki you have probably looked already but just in case- have you looked at Jaeger and Jaeger outlet?
