"size up FOR a looser fit.."

I am in a BIG HUFF with Woolovers. I'm going to start posting ranty things on FB if they don't het their sh*t together.

I purchased this in 2 sizes: Pale Pink Jumper

and then this to go with the jumper that fitted me the best: Pale Pink Shrug Thing

I also purchased a pre paid returns Hermes sticker so I could return one of the jumpers as boing too big or too small...

As it turns out, I like the jumper in the 2 sizes - one to wear with Shrug Thing, and the other to wear on its own.

But... Shrug Thingy had several material flaws in it, so sent it back for a replacement one.

And it hasn't arrived.

Woolovers just say that it can take up to 10 days for the Hermes items to return, and up to 3 days for the items to be processed. My Heremes parcel receipt has 29th May on it - so plenty of time to do all that...

My argument is going to be with Hermes, isn't it?? Grrrr

In other news, I had a 20 min siesta. I reckon I had about 4 hours sleep last night.

Off to dig up remaining weeds with much more vigour and set up watering hose. Its looking like a desert out there.

Crem - lovely to see you back briefly.

AND NO TIGHTS. JUST NO.

All I want to do is have a swim in the sea. Got to beach, put sandals and bag down. Small aggressive dog ran over and pissed all over my sandals. Told the owner ( and we have all the stereotypes here), bottle blonde, heavily tattooed woman) who said "Well what do you expect me to fucking do about it? She's a fucking dog." I said an apology, at the very least, would have been nice, whereupon she told me to fuck off. While this was going on, her dog had knocked over a small child and was hanging onto his shorts. The child's mother was more vocal than me. I've crossed Kent off my holiday cottage destination list...

Not your Hotter sandals?? Shock

IDismyname · 19/06/2017 17:03

Seriously, MrsK - sorry to hear that. I had a similar aggressive contretemps with a couple on Hayling Island over a parking space. They almost ran over my mother in the way they just kept slowly driving towards her. She had nowhere else to go.

I'm with you on the 'Type' at seasides...

And there is not even a Primark here to buy cheap flip flops

Mrs K, what a palaver ( cheeky cow) poor dog having a bitch like owner. Are the Naots recoverable?
Very disappointed with Kent. Oyb.

Liking your knitwear Airborne, but even thinking about it is making me melty.
Going to investigate aforementioned underwear.
Am seriously thinking about getting a dog again. I could be quite responsible after jacking in job. Hmm

As much as I'd love to be in Poldark (with that Aidan chap?), I am currently swanning around Dubrovnik being all Dungeons and Dragons. Or Game Of Thrones. Perhaps Lord Of The Rings. I can't bloody remember - the one with lots of breasts.

God that sort of dog owner makes me see red. We have had dogs eat children's pizza and chew brand new footballs, and the owners just shrugged.

Breasts, Maid? Envious of Dubrovnik. Or indeed anywhere not London today. Standing on the A23 today was like being lowered into toxic soup.

And as this is S&B, I shall share my outfit:

  1. A black jersey jumpsuit, flatteringly drapey, spaghetti straps, V-neck.
  2. Brown Birkenstock toe posts.
  3. Dark teal bra and matching Brazilian knicks, which I have scrunched up my bum crack to avoid jersey/drapey VPL.

Blimey - there's commitment to S&B, Maid! I HATE knicks scrunched up like that.

People used not to care about VPL - I rewatched The Grass is Greener a couple of years ago - Deborah Kerr as aristo dressed by ?Hardy Amies. She's wearing fawn slacks I think in the opening scenes and you can distinctly see the PL.

Just dripped sweat all way back on bus. Charming. OTOH everyone doing same thing, so hey.

MaidOfStars · 19/06/2017 19:32

I usually give not a single toss about VPL. I shall remember that nobody is judging and wiggle them out forthwith.

Crem, you can have my dog!

In fact, today you can have my Dh, my ds and my dd2 as well. I will keep my girl dog and my big dd.....

Bloody hot here too, as everywhere. My current S&B sitch is a massive pair of navy T shirt shorts (bought in 1991) and an orange vest, bought at Heathrow Airport in about 2002 Grin Still it is colour coordinated with my Aperol and ginger Blush
