Airborne, were they close friends? It sounds nasty. Could it be dh?

motherinferior · 11/07/2017 07:37

I must get to grips with the morning...

MrsSchadenfreude · 11/07/2017 07:47

I have a mild hangover...
But behaved myself. Smile

Rosenspants · 11/07/2017 08:16

Fluffy I think you have hit on something there....feeling left out as a child and the impact later on in social circles. Sad I think you need a new circle of friends who deserve you.... and you have us, of course. Flowers

Crem I haven't had a bad back like this for about 7 years....last time, I had to have a cocktail of valium and codydramol which knocked me out. I just can't do that at the moment.I can't really take anti inflammatory meds so I have to stick with cocodamol which is not without its side effects either. I'm using the ibuleve gel and hot water bottles but whilst walking around is bearable, sitting and lying down is terrible. (And getting in and out of the car) Any quick fix suggestions Crepes...I have work and other things on which I really don't want to cancel.

Ah MrsS we were hoping for stories of last nights shenanigans.... Grin

S&B news...I want to wear my new Pikolinos shoes today but bad back means I can't bend down to do them up...Hmm

Rosenspants · 11/07/2017 08:19

And in fatty clinic news.... I have stayed the same :-/

MrsSchadenfreude · 11/07/2017 08:21

Rosen - British School of Osteopathy at Borough sorted me out.

magimedi · 11/07/2017 08:29

Sorry to hear about not friends, Airborne. I'm not on FB & feel little temptation to join, TBH. I also find that limiting my internet time quite drastically really helps my mental state.

No news from me - lots of walking & sea swimming & tennis watching has occupied me for the last 10 days or so & off to France in a few days.

magimedi · 11/07/2017 08:30

Oh and I don't count crepeys as internet Grin

motherinferior · 11/07/2017 08:54

It is very, very easy to make me feel I don't count. Today I am mostly fighting feelings of profound inadequacy.

Rosenspants · 11/07/2017 09:02

How so MI ? Flowers

I do have a good osteopath locally but haven't been there for so many years....pain killers are kicking in now...but DD has had to put on my shoes for me. Is this not the ultimate in Crepedom?

motherinferior · 11/07/2017 09:09

Don't know. I think I'm probably feeling quite vulnerable because I'm writing quite hard at the moment. It puts me on the line!

MrsSchadenfreude · 11/07/2017 09:50

The ultimate in crepeydom is being helped on and off the loo

Rosenspants · 11/07/2017 09:58

MrsS not only am I struggling to get on and off the loo, I am struggling to actually "go" as it hurts the muscles. TMI But I haven't asked anyone to help me. Yet....
Grin

motherinferior · 11/07/2017 11:08

Talking of the ultimate in crepeydom, my Hotter order is on its way.Grin

Rosenspants · 11/07/2017 12:20

Nooooooooo

NoCureForLove · 11/07/2017 12:25

Have resisted the siren call of the Hotter sandals... but have bought some EXTREMELY Marmite / fugly pastel blue ClRks Wallabees in the Amazon "sale" for £35. Will report back...

Cremolafoam · 11/07/2017 13:43

Hmm been there a few times, and it is not pretty Mrs S.Wink
Rosen i think hot compress followed by cold one is useful. If you can lie flat on back and do pelvic tilts. The very very slight movement can really help. cushion tender parts from floor.

bigTillyMint · 11/07/2017 14:13

Sorry so many are suffering with sore backs FlowersBrewCake

IDismyname · 11/07/2017 23:24

I echo Crem on her back advice. You should really get someone to take a look at it. I know good chiro in Clapham, but that's not your 'hood is it? He worked a bl**dy miracle on my back. It's feeling better than it has for years.

As maintenance, would you consider Pilates?

I have got over myself re FB and this party. Until next time...

I do think it could be DH. He's so pompous and immodest about some things. My toes curl in embarrassment sometimes. He can be such a twat.

Sorry I won't be making it to Fridays MU, but a big thank you for last week. Off to Norfolk for 2 weeks.

POWER BACK ON!!!!

motherinferior · 12/07/2017 14:29

My Hotter order is on its way! True crepeydom awaits!!!!

Cremolafoam · 12/07/2017 14:56

I have judiciously bought a great pair of fur lined boots for the winter in Zalando sale. £185 reduced to £35. Navy, waterproof suede, fur lined bikers. What is not to like?

I would like you to model the Hotters MI. Pleeeease! Grin

Airbourne, have a gorgeous , big sky, wide expanse time in Norfolk. Envy

In Bank Holiday ( 12th July🍊🍊🍊🇬🇧) news I have painted a gate, and Dh has put up two trellises for me. We might get a BBQ on the go later. Its wonderfully quiet, as the roads are empty and no silage is being cut. It's the only day of genuine rural peace as the countryside is far from peaceful most days, contrary to popular belief .Hmm
( fortunately we are not near parades or 🔥)

MsMartini · 12/07/2017 17:10

Oooh what are your new shoes called please Crem and MI?

I had fallen into bed very grumpy and tired last night (busy few days) and then discovered this morning I had forgotten to put the bins out. So will have to spend the next week prowling the neighbourhood under cover of darkness with small bags looking for non-existent spaces in municipal bins. I used to do this regularly with my father when in his small seaside home town as a child and we would walk back all sprightly and satisfied along the front feeling the mist and wind on our faces - isn't it funny the things that remind you of people? [He was hot on waste management and would be very cheered to know I take the matter seriously Smile.

Cremolafoam · 12/07/2017 20:35

MsMartini, I can't find the boots anywhere on The Zalando site. Maybe they are sold outHmm. I managed to get a photo from my account page. They are jolly warm, but a teeny bit tight on my fat trotters, so thin socks only.

I am seeking interesting door furniture, (numbers and suchlike) to set off my front door. Probably brass , as the letter box is brass. Any suggestions welcome.Smile
