Thought I'd start a thread for anyone who finds capsule wardrobes in muted tones tedious as feck.

Ditto little diamond studs and designer bags with glossy bobs.

I personally admire the style of Alys Fowler and Helena Bonham-Carter.

Also love a bit of Gudrun/Lagenlook and other cheerful offerings.

A successful charity shop rummage is a joy to behold. I like messy hair, well -loved clothes and making my own stuff too.

Anyone else?

Cant remember who asked about coloured leggings but topsy turvy clothing have a basic range in lots of colours for £5 a pair. Not sure on quality as never had them but had tops from there pretty cheap which are great quality.

That jacket is beautiful, Jacob. I am an 8-10. Could I pay you for it? How much?

drspouse · 24/04/2017 10:31

I used to love American Apparel leggings but they have gone bust Sad.

Greenifer pm me. Smile

I came across this site whilst mucking around on pinterest. Beautiful but so expensive shop.mothwurf.com/?___store=english Im hoping to replicate on the cheap for summer.

Choccy I have th Suli (I think boots) similar to Mes, mine were in an oxblood red but think they had purple and blue.

I have an amazing pair of New Rocks in petrol..I dont get to wear them anyway near as much as I should..-they take ages to fasten--

Thanks for all the boots recommendations, off for a googlefest!

Someone on here recommended Kit and Kaboodal. Had a look, just received my first order - very nice top ( Artist's top), hangs well, delivered exactly when they said it would be. Think I might get more!

Loving these at the moment

Delphinium I recommended Kit & Kaboodle. So glad you got something good from them. You can't beat a bit of enormous baggy linen! I found their stall at one of those big country shows and spent a very happy time trying on loads of things.

lasttimeround · 24/04/2017 22:10

Greenglass- what are those green lace ups. Middle photo? I luff them

Greenglassteacup · 24/04/2017 22:25

They are dr martens

Greenglassteacup · 24/04/2017 22:50

As are these beauties

Thank you NewPants. Sadly not that baggy on me! But lovely!

JacobFryesTopHatLackey · 25/04/2017 11:15

greenglass I covet all those shoes. Especially the floral docs. Even though I have extremely similar ones in a lighter colour.

For those who are nerdily inclined : canvaswarriors.co.uk/

Today's shoes. I love shoes

Like the shoes a lot - especially the green DMs! I'm back in a more autumnal outfit today. Top is similar to this one: www.etsy.com/uk/listing/480550574/black-ruffle-tunic-long-sleeve-dress?ref=related-4#

Wearing with opaques and oxblood DMs.

I adore Yasmin Sewell's style and look.

It's a real 'I don't give a toss' look and she always looks amazing. I know most of her stuff will be high end designer but it's very easy to emulate it with charity shop bargains. She wears gorgeous clashing colours and always seems comfortable too.

I'm all about the comfort these days.

SlipperyJack · 25/04/2017 13:30

Has anyone looked in Clarks lately? I was all excited because I got a 20% off voucher - but it all looked shite in the shop. Literally one pair of sandals I'd have given houseroom to. Everything else was frumptastic.

BroomstickOfLove · 25/04/2017 14:18

I like some of their Artisan range, but I haven't been in recently.

BroomstickOfLove · 25/04/2017 14:21

I hadn't heard if Yasmin Sewell before, but I have the same haircut (only my hair is a different colour) so I like her for that!

JacobFryesTopHatLackey · 25/04/2017 14:21

Their hamble oak brogues are quite nice. A little like Greenglass' shoes of the day. Where are yesterdays shoes from btw?

Greenglassteacup · 25/04/2017 14:30

The embroidered floral ones? Topshop

Greenglassteacup · 25/04/2017 14:30

I don't like hambletons
