I've loved catching up on posts.

Jealous of the hotel stash, it's always cheaply awful smelling stuff in the hotels I stay in.

I have a couple of empties.

A full size Essence hand cream. Its my current fave, it's like L'Occitane but is only £1.50 a tube. I'd forgot to put my L'Occitane one in my handbag and popped in Wilkinsons to buy a cheaply one as hands were sore and it's the one I use the most.

Loreal Fibrology Air Shampoo - I like it and will repurchase.
Loreal Fibrology Air Conditioner - love it and I'm still fascinated by clear conditioner, it seems like it shouldn't work.

Urban Decay Primer Potion , full size bottle and a sample. My fave ever eye primer and I've been dropping hints to Dh. I tend to keep this one for times when I need my make up to last ages and use cheap elf one for other times but ran out of that so I'm trying to use up the stuff I have in stash before replacing. I'm working my way through the samples that came with Naked 3

Nivea hydrating primer. Didn't hydrate, didn't do much as a primer either. Very very strong smell which is strong on the tongue if you forget and lick your lips. I had five samples of this to use up, def wouldn't purchase full size.

Loreal enriche shampoo sample. Liked it and would buy full sized. I usually have to have two shampoos on the go as after a week or so of using the same one my hair goes lanky.

Berry Burst shaving gel from Morrisons, I will be repurchasing.

I've been naughty though and bought quite a few bits over the weekend. I have no will power. Blush I'll post about them tomorrow as a couple of the products are bloody brilliant.

kwick · 07/02/2017 07:47

Amazeballs progress everyone!

dragon when it happened last week I thought it was a fluke but again today, after washing with Redken cleansing cream my hair was in an ok enough state to just have dusting of dry shampoo and voila! Its a miracle!! Thank you so much for sample - will likely become new staple!!!

Wow moogle

I've finished a body shop full size passion fruit shower gel.

Would re buy but not just yet as a) have a ton of others to use and b) am currently pg and the smell made me feel sick. SmileSad

MrsDilligaf · 07/02/2017 08:01

I spy Temple Spa in that stash.....

What do you think to it moogle? It's one of those brands I've always fancied trying (it's on my lust list)

FiveShelties · 07/02/2017 09:33

Everyone is doing so well - wonder if the cosmetic stores have noticed any drop off in trade whilst we have been using up? Grin

I have used up a Superdrug Styling Mousse, which cost around £1 ages and ages ago. It worked fine and definitely a bargain. Also finished a BeeCeuticals Lemon and Honey Hand Salve. I have had this for years and I thought it would never come to an end. It is quite thick and takes a while to soak in so have just been using it at night. It had been open for so long that about three months I started using it on my heels and it has finally all gone. I think it came from iHerb and cost around $4. I would definitely repurchase but I don't think the company exists anymore.

DragonNoodleCake · 07/02/2017 12:55

Ok Kwick but if you buy - top tip from me don't get from salon! I order mine from Terence Paul online in 1lt bottles it's way more economical

AlfaMummy · 07/02/2017 13:19

I find shed a V05 hairspray this morning. Do t think I will repurchase as it was a bit too strong for me and coated my bathroom in hairspray whenever I used it!! I'm now going to use up my Kenra 25 which I bought in US - a brand sadly not available here.

I'm going to make a real effort to see off my Clarins foot lotion (so I can try my Soap and Glory foot cream, which I bought last week, despite having lots in the stash!!).

AlfaMummy · 07/02/2017 13:20

*finished
*dont

Must preview next time!!

kwick · 07/02/2017 17:52

eme does pg mean upduffed? If so CONGRATULATIONS!!!! StarStarStar

five I heard that cosmetic industry WORLDWIDE is trembling right now - their forecasted sales look terrible! Grin

Just by where I live there are 2 MASSIVE beauty stores (independent) that mainly stock products for afro hair but also have makes like Wella, Redken and so on. I think they are cheaper but dragon what do you normally pay but the litre bottle?

SpartacusWoman · 07/02/2017 19:13

Congrats on the pregnancy :). The smell of my hand creams used to make me feel sick during pregnancy so had to switch. At about four months I looked the best I ever have in my life, my skin was clear, my hair was shiney and I had boobs for the first time ever.

I'm not feeling so guilty about buying more make up over the weekend now as most of it was cheap as chips anyway and things I kind of needed, like the Essence hand cream, I'd ran out and as there was only two tubes left and only cost £3 for them both, it would have been silly not to get them both :)

The George lip and eye primers should have been £3 each but but they on receipt as BOGOF, a nice surprise. Just as well as the lip primer is awful and feels very very bitty on lips. Eye primer is ok, but very oily until it sets. I'll use it up

The lip scrub and face primer are exclusive to Wilkinsons, lip scrub £1 and face primer £3. The face primer looked identical to the Benefit Professional and after wearing it, it comes very close in performance too.

I've been looking for the Honolulu for ages after reading it's a brilliant dupe for benefits hula, found it in TK MAXX for £2, it's very pigmented, last all day but I'm not keen on it as its much darker than hula and looks daft on my pale skin.

The panda thing was an impulse purchase (£5) based on the packaging, it's a brightening eye base and is brilliant. It's the only product I've found that actually works on my under eye circles without creasing, drying my skin out or settling into the lines.nits be blends so easily and I'm still amazed by it haha. It's a holy grail under eye concealer for me. Gives decent coverage on its own, but as a base for other concealers is great too, I can use some I couldn't before with this underneath.

Burts Bees tinted lip balm was only £1 in Poundland, love it and I'm thinking of popping back to get another one. Perfect amount of tint imo.

The Loreal infaillable full cover concealer pallets is also brilliant, I think it's just come out, at £12.99 it's the most expensive product I've bought but easily worth it, it's proper full coverage on my pimples, but isn't heavy to wear, it's creamy and light, blends brilliantly, doesn't cake and lasts all day. The green does a decent job of covering the redness on my cheeks and the purple also does a good job on under eyes, I feel like with this and the Panda stick I could get rid of my other concealers and my foundations tbh.

The w7 mini blenders were £1 for the four, I use their bigger blenders all the time and love them, these are perfect for the eye and side of nose area.

That's def it for a while though, I'm not buying anything else unless anytime soon and I'm going to put some proper effort into using up what I already have.

Wow ladies you move fast! Pregnancy, holidays, hauls (and heavy duty trainers!)

Congratulations Em. Lovely news and chance to buy pregnancy smellies! Wink

You ladies are fab. I've used up a face wipe! [hangs head in shame] but feel like gonna have a run of empties soon. frustrated get well soon. The economy needs us!

mrs I love temple spa. Such lovely things. Top 3: repose night cream: not amazing as a moisturiser but so relaxing and a ritual.
Cleansing balm: lovely think called morning something?!?
Fake tan: doesn't streak too much and inoffensive smell
Drift away bath oil (ok 4!)

spartacus what a haul. Taking notes for Boots trip tmw. I only need nail varnish remover, deodorant and undereye concealer.
Place your bets please for cost of visit due to unnecessary but lush looking things????
(DH always says STU = £40. Standard Boots unit)

AnotherPinkiePieStory · 07/02/2017 20:12

ememem84 · 07/02/2017 20:57

kwick about 6 weeks. So early days. But feeling so sicky. And tired. I never knew it'd be this exhausting growing a person!

woodhill · 07/02/2017 21:01

Just hang in there, usually goes at 20 weeks hopefully - congratulations.Smile

ememem84 · 07/02/2017 21:12

On the plus side I'm not actually throwing up yet and am getting a ton of sleep.

Also taking the time to moisturise my feet. And body and face. My skin is going to be so wonderful.

moogletea · 07/02/2017 22:25
