Congrats on the pregnancy :). The smell of my hand creams used to make me feel sick during pregnancy so had to switch. At about four months I looked the best I ever have in my life, my skin was clear, my hair was shiney and I had boobs for the first time ever.
I'm not feeling so guilty about buying more make up over the weekend now as most of it was cheap as chips anyway and things I kind of needed, like the Essence hand cream, I'd ran out and as there was only two tubes left and only cost £3 for them both, it would have been silly not to get them both :)
The George lip and eye primers should have been £3 each but but they on receipt as BOGOF, a nice surprise. Just as well as the lip primer is awful and feels very very bitty on lips. Eye primer is ok, but very oily until it sets. I'll use it up
The lip scrub and face primer are exclusive to Wilkinsons, lip scrub £1 and face primer £3. The face primer looked identical to the Benefit Professional and after wearing it, it comes very close in performance too.
I've been looking for the Honolulu for ages after reading it's a brilliant dupe for benefits hula, found it in TK MAXX for £2, it's very pigmented, last all day but I'm not keen on it as its much darker than hula and looks daft on my pale skin.
The panda thing was an impulse purchase (£5) based on the packaging, it's a brightening eye base and is brilliant. It's the only product I've found that actually works on my under eye circles without creasing, drying my skin out or settling into the lines.nits be blends so easily and I'm still amazed by it haha. It's a holy grail under eye concealer for me. Gives decent coverage on its own, but as a base for other concealers is great too, I can use some I couldn't before with this underneath.
Burts Bees tinted lip balm was only £1 in Poundland, love it and I'm thinking of popping back to get another one. Perfect amount of tint imo.
The Loreal infaillable full cover concealer pallets is also brilliant, I think it's just come out, at £12.99 it's the most expensive product I've bought but easily worth it, it's proper full coverage on my pimples, but isn't heavy to wear, it's creamy and light, blends brilliantly, doesn't cake and lasts all day. The green does a decent job of covering the redness on my cheeks and the purple also does a good job on under eyes, I feel like with this and the Panda stick I could get rid of my other concealers and my foundations tbh.
The w7 mini blenders were £1 for the four, I use their bigger blenders all the time and love them, these are perfect for the eye and side of nose area.
That's def it for a while though, I'm not buying anything else unless anytime soon and I'm going to put some proper effort into using up what I already have.
