I love the pixi tonic but if you want a gentler toner @woodhill I've been using the nuxe Rose toner. Think I got it in a beauty box and am sorely tempted to buy it once I've finished this bottle

woodhill · 05/02/2017 13:28

Thanks:)

applesandpears33 · 05/02/2017 16:15

Finally got an empty - Clinique lip pop in plum pop. Really nice. So nice I have another one waiting in the stash. I'm finding it really dull working my way through full size products and just want some of them empty so I can try something new and different.

FrustratedFrugal · 05/02/2017 16:48

Excellent work ladies!
Username your posts are so inspiring!
Dragon you are a master packer, happy travels!

Moogletea how long do you think it took you to hit pan on Orgasm? two Nars blushes in my stash

Woodhill I think the key is being able to resist new purchases. I've felt mild makeup shopping urges, but so far shopping from my stash has helped.

I broke my clothes shopping ban today to buy a pair of Salomon winter trainers that have built in ice grips These are my birthday present to myself - we've had snow and ice on and off since November, and the during past week the roads have been particularly treacherous. I walk an average of five miles per day. I usually gain weight during winter, but I lost half a stone last autumn and it has stayed off!!! So I think these will be a good investment.

No new empties here, full size products do take ages.

moogletea · 05/02/2017 17:30

@frustrated it took about a year and I've only uncovered a tiny part Grin. I ordered a beauty box a couple of months ago that had a larger limited edition size in and for some reason got two instead of one so I'm predicting another 3 years before I clear the current stash😀

DragonNoodleCake · 05/02/2017 20:48

Oh dear - hotel has lovely goodies. Do I A) use then n take my sanctuary spa home for another day. Or B) use the SS and swipe these ones?

kwick · 05/02/2017 21:16

Either dragon!!! Are you staying for more than one night? Top tip: store in case all amenities with hope they will replenish Blush

CantChoose · 05/02/2017 21:25

Ooo I always use them in the hotel and take my own back home. It feels more luxurious for some reason - I suppose because a hotel bathroom is usually more posh than my own.
Why are blushers always so big? I've only once ever finished one. My last one I threw out because it got a bit gross as I'd had it so long.
I have finished a mini balance me mask, the radiance one. I think it's more of an exfoliated really, I wouldn't purchase.

kwick · 06/02/2017 07:22

I have finished a bottle of my beloved Stella McCartney perfume 😢

OP posts:
DragonNoodleCake · 06/02/2017 08:17

I'm in hotel #1 for 4 nights abs hotel #2 for 1 night!

AlfaMummy · 06/02/2017 11:33

Kwick, I also love Stella McCartney, I was wearing it yesterday in fact. Such a lovely fragrance.

Have used up an Urban Decay Eye Primer Potion, cannot use eyeshadow without this so I have another waiting in the stash! Likewise with my Liz Earle mascara, although Im thinking of trying Lancome once the new LE is used up. Have just finished an Elemis hand cream in lime and white flowers - ok but not brilliant. It seems nothing can beat L'Occitane Shea and Balance Me for hand creams.

Dragon, I would say use the hotel stash and enjoy them! I do love it when a hotel has nice bathroom treats!

pepperrabbit · 06/02/2017 13:11

I'm just checking in, no proper empties here. I did have to throw away a di palomo rose hand cream which I opened with excitement but it smelt very stale Sad
I am puzzled why I seem to have run out of handcream but don't have an empty Hmm I shall check DD's room!
I shall definitely start the L'Occitane one next, I think it's a shea one so good to have a recommendation.

pepperrabbit · 06/02/2017 13:17

oops - pressed post instead of preview!
We were in a hotel this weekend as well - the type where the shower gel is fastened to the wall! No chance to pamper anyway with 5 of us sharing one bathroom. Though I did get 2 lovely little mini sets from White Company when DH and I went away in November (and the slippers Blush)
It's my birthday today - If I buy lovely stuff with vouchers they don't count either, right?! (DH asked me how to spell L'Occitane so I'm quite hopeful!)

MrsDilligaf · 06/02/2017 15:41

Just checking in briefly...with FOUR!!! empties to report:

Clinique - Take the Day Off. This is a staple and I've used it for years. I've got three eye makeup removers in my stash though so won't be repurchasing for a while.

Soap and Glory - Butter Me Up. Like it. Can't believe I have actually finished a body lotion!! I can't imagine that by the time I need to buy body lotion they will still make this but I might buy it again in a hundred years

Alberto Balsam - Coconut and Lychee shampoo. Nowt special. It did the job.

Alberto Balsam - Coconut and Lychee Conditioner. As above. Nothing special although it did smell quite nice!

moogletea · 06/02/2017 19:08

Lovely stuff with vouchers doesn't count at all!

I've got a problem with hotel toiletries - im currently on a ban of buying shampoo and conditioner until I've made a dent on these!

@mrsdilligaf - impressive!

Ashamed of my beauty product hoard - part 4
kwick · 06/02/2017 19:10

Happy Birthday pepper 🎉🍾🎁

Wow mrsd!!! You are a Star!!!

Alfa my ever present fear is that they will discontinue - this has happened to favourite perfumes before or worse still the formula is messed with...

kwick · 06/02/2017 19:11

Wow moogle!!! Impressive stash!

OP posts:
DragonNoodleCake · 06/02/2017 19:46

I started to use the toiletries and they left them on the bath and put new ones at the sink!!! I must not take loads home, I must not take loads home. I must not take loads home

DragonNoodleCake · 06/02/2017 19:47

Mingle your stash looks amazing you must go to nice hotels! So business or pleasure??

DragonNoodleCake · 06/02/2017 19:47

Moogle not mingle sorry - auto correct

DragonNoodleCake · 06/02/2017 19:48

Pepper happy birthday - spoil yourself 😀

moogletea · 06/02/2017 20:03

@dragon - work unfortunately 😬 I'm putting a ban on myself until I start to make a significant inroad 😀

Tubbybells · 06/02/2017 21:07

Spooky kwik & alpha - I have dug some old Stella out and finished off the 50ml body lotion.

Other Empties since joining last week.
50 ml Clinique face wash - too harsh
50 ml Liz Earle body scrub
5ml sample Liz Earle smoothing line serum
5ml origins plantscriptions anti aging serum - preferred the Liz Earle but plenty more to go at before a repurchase is needed.

I must have a problem - I get nearly to the end of something I really like and stop using it - I "save" it for weekends away, that I never get around to going on. Or I stop using until I can get a replacement.

I have a mac eyeshadow I hit pan on so no longer use it as it was discontinued. I wore it again at the weekend and much prefer the laura mercier I replaced it with.

I expect empties to come thick and fast as I will endeavour to use said items up.

DragonNoodleCake · 06/02/2017 22:16

Moogle I always try to think of it as a bonus if I'm staying in a niceish hotel I've not paid for! The one I'm in this week is not bad - but extortionate being that I'm in Switzerland. I don't do loads of business travel (18% ish) but I do like the goodies.
I too have a stash box - yours is more impressive than mine though as I've been forcing myself to not take anything that is not totally amazing.

AlfaMummy · 06/02/2017 22:54

Tubbybells has reminded me that I've also finished my Liz Earle body scrub. Love it and I always replace, such lovely fragrance and as it also foams slightly I don't use a desperate shower gel when using the scrub. Having said that, I'm going to dig out my body brush and see if that does as good a job - I'm sure it will with added benefits of body brushing.

Happy Birthday, Pepper 💅💄
