Oh pinkie I have some of that in my hoard - think it was from a beauty box. Keep meaning to start using it and have t got round to it - will definitely pull it out

Oh I lied its this one - no idea of what it does - off to google!

I have a little make up bag that has a load of those little sample sachet things you get in magazines. It's all skin stuff primers, eye shadows, serums etc and a few shampoos. I also tear out the perfume pages and keep them in there too, they come in really useful when travelling and saves packing multiple bottles of perfume about and also good to keep in bag for a quick top up.

Ive just finished a sample sachet of the aveeno skin relief for extra dry skin, I don't think I'd buy a full size bottle. Its not helped me and I found it doesn't absorb into my skin, it just sits on it, I've only been using it overnight so maybe that's why it hasn't helped but I know my will be sticking to my face if there's a slight breeze.

I've hit pan on a body shop body butter. I have five more to use after I've finished this one so wint be buying any body lotions for a while yet. Sil used to do parties and kindly gave me the stuff she didn't sell. Perfumes, lip balms and body butters galore. :)

I'm hoping skin clears up before the weekend, cheeks are peeling and red grrrrr, dh was going to take me to house of fraisure on sat and treat me to something nice. been together 18 years and it's the first time were buying each other valentines gifts ha. I know I'll sound silly saying this but I'd feel intimidated going to the counters with no make up on as all the women who work on the counters are perfectly done up. It's me being daft I know.

Aaah aveeno - I can buy cheap as chips (company store) but it just doesn't do it for me. The almond scented ones make me feel a bit sick. My family and friends on the other hand send me to work with a shopping list.
I love the neutrogena lotion though.

I haven't tried Aveeno, I might not rush now!

No empties, but tried a Clinique Happy body lotion last night, which was wonderful. I would hardly need perfume. Lovely consistency. This was bought as a set from DM (who thinks I still use Clinique, like I did when I was 16...!), so I wouldn't stretch to buy this for a daily moisturiser, but a fab treat.

My hairdresser remarked what good condition my hair was in today, this is the 3rd visit now where's she's just cut my fringe. So the Aussie Rules stuff stays.

Right which one of you mentioned about the free Soap and Glory Righteous Butter when you buy two S & G Products?

I caved. Bought two tubes of Heel Genius. And then I couldn't find my bloody Advantage Card to get the points!

I do have lovely soft feet at the moment though

In my sleepiness yesterday I forgot to say that I had completed my #finish5fullsize!

What are we going on to next? I am still concentrating hard on finishing a 8 pan Chanel pallette- I have hit pan on 5 but it will be years before I am done!
Maybe we can have a sample use up drive? Or 40 products by Easter (that seems like a lot!!!)?

Finished another Molton brown shower gel mini- in eucalyptus. Was a good one for this cold weather. Body shop mangonfor now.

DH didn't get the job, but he really didn't warm to the firm or the people so maybe for the best. Onwards we go...

Welcome tubbybells - was going to shorten that to tubby but it didn't feel right! I recently binned loads of dried up mini mascaras. Such a waste :/

I have finally finished my dragon's blood sculpting gel. Not sure it did much but I never can tell. I buy products much more on how much I enjoy using than any visible effect!

My life has felt a bit grim of late - I really needed an upswing.
A celebratory lunch coming up tomorrow!
And lots of exciting things in the pipeline...

Oh and I persevered through Dry January not drinking yet although DH tempted me with wine and have also stuck to my S&B shopping ban (only replacing staples when the stash is gone). Feeling 😎

Love the idea of a sample challenge. I don't know how many samples I have knocking about but if it's less than 40 I'll just aim to use the lot. It'll make me use the urban decay eye primer samples that came with naked 3, I keep saving them for special occasions, but a kebab on way home from work men's club once a year is about as special as it gets for me :)

I'm almost finished Elemis flash balm too @tubbybells It's too heavily scented for me, and quite a thick formula so I'm not a big fan either. I got mine free with a magazine iirc.

I did not mean 40 samples feeling left out as I have no where near that amount just trying to think of a seasonal number like we had 13 for Halloween. Anyway I think I will make a list of my latest targets and then see where I land. I really want to use up some of my make-up but I get so bored using the same items day in day out - but that is the only way to make a dent in stash!!!

Ooh like a lent challenge? I stopped giving stuff up a few years ago and started to do things instead...various things. So I'm thinking I might do something like a 40 day princessing thing.

I've been very very naughty. One of my friends has set up a new business so naturally I have supported her. If you are on Facebook have a look at her page - The Little House of Hygge. I've HAD to buy a subscription box and a few other bits...I'm all about the Hygge!!!

This thread moves on so fast! I have two full size empties, Estée Lauder illuminating primer and Estée Lauder doublewear light foundation. I will replace the foundation as it's a staple for me when I want fuller coverage, but I am going to plough through my Dior glow primer and some sachets. And then I will treat myself to Becca Backlight.

Morning! Decided to chuck Boots tea tree and witch hazel spot wand - myst be out of date by now - does not work as well as Savlon.

Oooh mrsd a princessing thing? What would that entail? I too have stopped giving things up for lent (not being a big fab of chocolate anyway) and started trying to do a sun salute every morning - may do that again.

Princessing is a thing...there have been quite a few threads on S & B about it I the past but essentially it's about taking time to do various things to make yourself feel good.

Various suggestions such as making sure you drink 2 litres of water a day, 30 mins exercise a day, face mask once a week and so on.

It's all good!

kwick total awe. I'm still stuck on Valentine's Day list. If you see a strange woman covered in illuminating primer from head to toe smelling very strongly of red musk, it'll be me! Plugging on though.

My mum - who is in the know - has confirmed that topical use of Salcyclic acid is verboten during pregnancy.... will have to put loads of stuff back in stash for a while. 😢
