MrsDilligaf · 11/01/2017 18:40

La la la la la la la la la I can't hear you la la la lala la

ememem84 · 11/01/2017 18:47

It's a 30ml thing. And I got tons of free travel sized stuff. Yay. Perfect for holidays.

Goodness me WellTidy, that's some spree! It's hard to read that list without feeling wildly jealous, although that's hardly in the spirit of the thread!

I've not made any major strides of late; just finished a L'Occitane hand cream, which is something I guess.

ememem84 · 11/01/2017 19:06

Sorry not sorry Grin

On the up side though I'm almost finished a thing of frizz ease.

Day 11 dry & S&B shopping free

kwick · 11/01/2017 20:34

Well I am definitely day 11 (plus at least another 365 days) alcohol free... I think I might be beauty-product spree free too as Kiko, Lush and Feel Unique blow outs were before New Year

Oh blimey Welltidy Smile

Good for you Em, secret spending!

On mascara, I smudge everything. Always. The only thing that works for me and is a staple is Clinique Lash Power, not a waterproof, but a 'long lasting' one. It's about £20 on Amazon and works for me.

No empties. I'm trying valiantly to get rid of a Rituals body cream that is way too perfumed for me.

Birchbox arrived today and is brilliant! Nuxe oil, hand cream, concealer etc. A good one this month.

kwick · 12/01/2017 07:17

I have two empties!!

  • Herbal Essences Moroccan My Shine shampoo and conditioner there may have been some social engineering done to ensure a simultaneous "orgasm"

welltidy love that list. Very jealous. All sound lush and you've finished loads.

dogday I'm having it!

Managed to finish Charlotte tilbury eye makeup remover. Like so much of her stuff I was underwhelmed so won't be repurchasing.
Going through my stash and going no-spend January so making a list for February which I'm not sure is the point! Found a Korean foundation that frustrated recommended on Korean thread last year I think. Really great. Think it's called something like jelly?!? Pale and in a great glass jar with spatula so a joy to use.

AnotherPinkiePieStory · 12/01/2017 09:07

katie who knows where minis come from? Mine breed in bathroom cabinet?!?

I'm going to try Lancôme mascara next (2019?!?) as hear such good stuff usually I'm a max factor girl.

Needastrongone · 12/01/2017 09:12

I have an empty!

Shampoo - Matrix Total results Color (as per bottle) Obsessed Shampoo. Which you have to buy at a salon. I buy from my hairdresser or the supermarket, I'm not fussy.

I will need to repurchase at least some sort of shampoo. I have coloured hair with tons of red in it, and my hair is quite frizzy and porous. This colour fades a lot on anyone, but especially me. I've yet to find my perfect shampoo to be honest. Any recommendations?

I'm not sure I will ever find 'my' shampoo though.

WellTidy · 12/01/2017 10:32

Minis - mine come from magazine freebies, things that I've bought when I've made my own Christmas crackers (I buy 30 per 50 ml shower gels in the body shop or a collection of them from molton brown, I also buy mini hand creams for crackers), samples from counters when I've spent a fortune, some hotels (I can't leave anything, especially top end stuff like occitane, cowshed, molton brown etc) ... it's no wonder I have a huge stash of them too. I have a special bag in my stash now, just of minis. It's rather full, like so many other posters Smile

WellTidy · 12/01/2017 10:34

.... and of course the Gift With Purchase bags of minis that I find ever so difficult to resist. Especially when I tell myself that I am only restocking on my staples so it would be silly not to get the freebie that everyone else is getting, especially when I am such a good and loyal customer ...

kwick · 12/01/2017 12:36

needs I am still seeking my perfect shampoo... I have greasy roots, dry ends. I have a Akin duo lined up to start once I finish off my Lush shampoo bar (which I usually use when travelling).
I have such fond memories of a Vidal Sassoon shampoo from the 1980's... but it may just have been the smell (almond). Anyway my research this year is going to be down the more natural route as I hope I can find the "one" that way Grin

Have just been into jo Malone and bought myself (using a gift card) a pommegranate noir candle. And was given a sample of perfume and a body oil. Yay!

FrustratedFrugal · 12/01/2017 16:51

Has this ever happened to you: after a long and busy day your body and hair feel so grungy that you want to take a shower immediately and then lounge around in your pjs and robe sipping chamomile tea until your extra early bedtime? I worked 3 hours overtime yesterday after an 8 hour day. Today has been good - highly stimulating people and great conversation - but I really need a rest.

FrustratedFrugal · 12/01/2017 16:55

Oh and PinkiePie super happy that I was able to recommend something nice Grin

I am patiently working on full-size products. No news.

MrsDilligaf · 12/01/2017 17:03

Frugal quite often! When I was at work there were days I'd just walk through the door and hit the shower and stay there until I felt 'clean'

Chill out tonight Brew & Cake

DragonNoodleCake · 12/01/2017 18:14

Welltidy I have a really useful clear box of minis

I get them from hotels, business class flights, freebes with purchases etc. Box was full managed to get it down to half as I have travelled on business properly for ages. Saying that I've just found out I'm going to Switzerland twice in Feb

DragonNoodleCake · 12/01/2017 18:16

Pinkie do the Lancôme mascara! I swear by it, I probably have a mini one I could send you to try!!

FrustratedFrugal · 12/01/2017 18:38

Freshly showered, blow-dried and moisturized: feeling much better!

Plus I have an empty! Mini Alpha H Balancing Moisturizer. Smelled really weird, offputting. Glad it's gone!
