Totally Frugal. For me baths or showers with lots of lovely products at the end of a hectic day is so soothing and restorative. I'm guessing most of us on here are the same: beauty products are much more than functional, they're about self-care and joy and well-being! Grin

Well ladies, good to see everyone enjoying their goodies.....whether from the hoards or newly acquired! I had a few empties over Christmas so now on a lot of newly opened full size things. Also acquired a fair few things with Xmas, but that's life. Work still shit and I am seeing a solicitor tomorrow to get some advice....I feel sick!

kwick · 12/01/2017 19:48

frugal all I have been wanting for weeks is a nice relaxing bath but have been advised against due to fertility treatment/early BFP stages....

My Feel Unique pick n mix samples for January have arrived!!! 4 caudalie and 1 kiehls.

frugal absolutely. Some days I need to just "de-work" by having a shower washing hair and trying to scrub work off.

No use ups here today. And no new products either.

woodhill · 12/01/2017 20:24

Used up Clarins Body lotion today, the blue fragrance one.

Busy week but am using my eyeshadow everyday

ememem84 · 12/01/2017 21:55

wood I am determined to hit the pan on another urban decay shade by Easter.

kwick · 13/01/2017 07:25

I have an empty:

  • Naobay full size protective hair mask: TBH this did not do much for my hair (better result with the Montagne Jeaunesse honey hair mask)

em go for it. Don't think I have ever used up a powder eyeshadow.

FrustratedFrugal · 13/01/2017 08:41

Em great goal!!!

I love idea of washing off work but I don't do it enough. Should try more baths as good opportunity to Chill and use things!
Today I finished a lip stain. So old that name has rubbed off! Hoorah.
Also started list of things I want to buy when finish no-spend January.

Morning ladies, a couple of empties from me despite being ill with a horrid cold all week. First, a roll-on deodorant, although I'm not really sure it counts... Kinda doesn't feel too 'beauty', but it is empty so it gets included. Then a L'Occitane hand cream, swiftly replaced by another from The Stash! I also threw out a Benefit They're Real mascara as it was leaving awful marks under my eyebrows where my lashes were touching my skin. I usually use Liz Earle mascara as it does not smudge, but thought I'd try another as I've been using LE for years. Have also wanted to try a Lancome one, as mentioned above, i keep reading good things about their staying power. Although for now I have another LE one in The Stash!!

StrawberryandCreamPips · 13/01/2017 13:07

Hi all and a veeeery belated happy new year!

2 Clarins empties over the hols - full size Beauty Flash Balm and sample tube of Mission Perfect Serum.
Regular user of BFB so replaced with another from stash (yet another spare still in there from a Duty Free offer last year). Liked serum too, though probably exceeds my pain limit in terms of price unless feeling very flush one day. Anyone got any long-term experience with it to report?

Was in UK over NY and got Boots No 7 Protect and Advance (think that's what it's called?) serum with five quid off. Looking closely main ingredient appears to be silicone, though, so maybe not a keeper.

woodhill · 13/01/2017 16:32

Found my beloved Clarins hand cream down the back of the settee. Nearly gone.

Needastrongone · 13/01/2017 18:13

I'm glad it's not just me that hasn't found 'their' shampoo.

No empties to report. I've got a L'Occitane hand cream that was in a beauty cracker which stinks (It's lavender, I hate lavender smellies, sorry), but I'm going to use it, I am!

To be fair, the feel is lovely, just not the pong. Smile

kwick · 13/01/2017 19:17

need I love lavender smellies but recently used a L'oocitane one that I did not like the smell of at all!

Needastrongone · 13/01/2017 19:29

Thinking about it kwick, I should quantify that statement. I don't like the strong smell of lavender in smellies. I love pillow sprays and have a Temple Spa night cream that is lovely and sends me to the land of nod faster than you could imagine!

DragonNoodleCake · 14/01/2017 00:08

Good work team. I have resisted the sales 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈 feeling angelic

Finished my AB secret key rose statting treatment essence which I love. Another one in the stash. Have also just got a sample of The legendary P50 from a generous MNetter so will be trying that and it's good timing as most of my chemical exfoliations are running out. Wish more things came in sample size.

Everything else is still full size and sloooow. Might finish my face wash in the next few weeks with concentrated effort. It's another AB one and I've quite enjoyed it but looking forward to breaking out something new.

FrustratedFrugal · 14/01/2017 16:41

I have just thrown DD's birthday party.

I already caved on the lipstick front, Chanel Exuberante throughout the day.
Now Yves Rocher Rose Somptueux.
Ahhhh feels good...

Needastrongone · 14/01/2017 18:39

Exciting Dragon!!

No empties to report, but I'm pleased to find that the Soap and Glory body scrub and body butter agree with me. Effective scrub, and the body butter soaks in well and doesn't leave too strong a smell.

I've not really used S&G before, other than the Heel Genius. I'm really impressed for the price of the products.

Currently in a swanky hotel with DH (Christmas pressie), so I'll steal all the smellies Grin
