So far today I've finished up a bottle of rum and a bottle of Bailey's. You've got to start somewhere after all! They only had a tiny dribble in each, honest...

Thank you everyone for all the support in this: I have finished a few more items:

1. Dry batiste shampoo volume
2. Handcream 30ml
3. Body scrub apricot 200ml
4. Bourjois face powder (lasted a year!)
5. Paco Rabanne sample perfume 1.2ml
6. Rosehip m&s handcream 30ml
7. Sample prada kiss 1.2 ml
8. Boots botanic face scrub
9. Primrose hand cream 30ml

10. Garnier make up remover 11. Garnier eye make up remover

The last two were almost empty but I had to get rid of them before they were fully empty because they had expired

I have another empty:

• Hema lavender scented hand soap - not really a strong smell of Lavender but colour fits in with bathroom decor... right NO MORE soap/handwash until stash is gone!!

No empties to report. I did note this morning though that my shower gel had a best before date on it - from 2009! Still seems to work, but doesn't have much fragrance.

Did a wardrobe deck utter last night. Slightly depressing as I do need to go shopping but also need to lose some weight. I am not making any crazy Jan diet promises though so will take a slow and steady approach to clothes and weight. I've had a dicky hip for the past 2 months which is finally responding to physio and some small adaptions to day to day life so hopefully that will improve enough to get back into some running.

I'm down a bottle of conditioner, a shower gel, a body scrub and a face wash. Slightly scary to realise how many open bottles I have (and how many unopened). dBro has bought me the you beauty advent calendar for my birthday next week so need to get cracking on some more of the other open things.....

I have also unsubscribed from all beauty shop email lists - hoping to avoid temptation that way.

Have a slightly stressful day ahead so aiming to do a little at-home facial to relax in the evening, maybe even a bath! Should get rid of at least two samples that way.
My dragons blood sculpting gel from last year's m&s calendar (I think) is nearly dead too, might be the last use tonight if not tomorrow.

By Feb they will be gone.

Also got another atomiser in a Christmas cracker so will fill that with other perfume to pop in my bag.

I am back in a&e with more conjunctivitis which is a royal pain but lovely staff sorting me out. You guys are all inspiring me so I will avoid new year temptation to buy more and remember all my open things to use up. My resolution this year is to wear more make up and use up open things to replace with HG products. I tried Laura mercier primer about 5 years ago but never got round to buying it again as keep buying cheapies and the stick with them!

Finished the bumble and bumble spray. Quite liked it actually. Might see if I can find something similar but cheaper

How do you make those lists. Is it on an iPad?

Make up on again even though not doing much.

Back to work tomorrow so have to do it quickly. I think that's why it takes me a while to use up make up

I keep the lists on my phone (Notes on iPhone), snap photos of them and attach them here!

I'm off work until next week but decided to complete a few urgent tasks today. I accomplished quite a bit but DC returned before I could tick off a couple of pesky tasks

Kwick!!!!! Congratulations, have everything crossed for you. We have just started ttc and I got my period last night so feeling a bit emotional but hoping 2017 will be the year for us.

Have an empty...a molton brown perfume...Ljiang....love it, have an unopened one in the stash but will leave it for a while as have so many others on the go.

Oh and Frustrated I love the "shopping from the stash" comment..great way to look at it!

badgers that was me last week. 2017 will be our year. I can feel it.

I was given a Baylis and Harding hand soap for Christmas. Will probably use it up fairly quickly. have popped it in the main bathroom.

Have had a sort through the stash and think I'm good until at least 2018 make up wise. May have to buy some toiletries later in the year but probably not until September...!!
