Dragon oh that is so impressive! I understand the temptation but your Avon matte and black cherry lippies are lush... No need to change

I should also focus on using up a few more old lipsticks. I've been good, I've finished at least five over the past year! (That's probably why I have gotten a bit restless - I got carried away when I was replacing my go-to Chanel Cambon. I'm the queen of pink and mauve lipsticks, I haven't really worn bright red before!)

ButtonBee your pampering session souds great! Which Korean essence did you choose?

I'm trying on perhaps my oldest lipstick, Max Factor Chilli that must be close to ten years old. I used to love brick reds but not too sure about them any more, and the coarse shimmer also seems a bit retro. Just a little bit left so I clearly must have loved this one a lot!

I have finished a Nuxe Prodigieux shower oil. It was underwhelming and smelled of burning plastic, so glad to see the last of it! Never again

I seem to have gone back to my old ways... I have a massive hoard again and that is without the Feel Unique haul that is about to arrive or the Kiko one!!! I am also a bit hampered with being able to use up bath stuffs as I am only allowed to shower at the mo...

frustrated I have the secret key rose edition starting treatment essence. I really want the SKII FTE but budget doesn't stretch that far at the moment!! Also hankering after the naruko one too. They are really good though. Very nice before serum particularly Hyaluronic acid ones.

SKII FTE is my dream product as well! I've gone back to Missha FTE, I am not sure about its long term effects but in the very short run, FTE + Borabit give me a fabulous glow - my skin can look pasty but these two really help, I don't know how...

Kwick that sounds completely normal to me... particularly after Christmas. I think quite a few of us go through binge-purge cycles. It is so easy to accumulate stuff...

I have to say that Max Factor lipsticks have phenomenal staying power. The pic shows what MF Chilli looks after a greasy meal of Greek meatballs, feta salad, lemon potatoes and baklava (5+ hour wear and no touchups)! My Nars and NYX would be totally streaky after anything involving olive oil.

Very hungry now frustrated!!!

So life is too short to deal with a dry shampoo that adds grease to hair so am chucking:

This is my final look with the neverending No7 eyeshadow creams - I really think they are done now!!!

I have my first empty!!!
Biselect natural lifting cream (purchased in Greece during hols) - no noticeable difference and tacky texture.

Few empties: a bog standard conditoner, a rituals shower foam from the advent calendar and a mini foundation from a Benefit complexion kit. Doesn't make a dent in the stash after the pre-Christmas buying sprees but at least I am still consciously using and enjoying

Happy new year to everyone! Two empties from last night, Pixi milky mist and Trilogy C0Q10 booster oil sample. I am hoping to get through 2017 without any unnecessary purchases, here's hoping

My make up is on, products I am going to use till Feb in a separate bag. Not sure eye shadows will be completely used up, 3 shades of neutral, brown , look good.

Washed brushes.

Clarins foaming cleanser used up.

Happy new year! Have had a lovely lazy morning watching the Christmas Call the Midwofe and now have a desire to clear rooms of clutter.

Used up the Body Shop spiced apple scrub yesterday, liked this but will resist temptation to see if it's reduced.....

I fell in love with the refound Max Factor Chilli lipstick. Paired with gloss, it is a mesmerizing shimmery copper. Just right for dim midwinter light and deep grays and greens. I'll play with it until I get bored - it's called shopping from your stash

There is an average of 300-500 swipes in a lipstick - so this is why I've finished so few although I've worn lipstick nearly every day since my late teens!

I finished a few samples: body shop cranberry shower gel and body butter, arran aromatics conditioner and Liz Earle shimmer lotion. Lovely all.
Working on my valentines list.
Also I've been saved a spend today. Nothing in Glasgow open so saved from a cheeky space nk spend with my xmas money! I shall be wearing full face all January! Here I go!

I think I'm done with my Finish Ten by New Year.

Final mega boring products: a neverending tube of cement-like Colgate Sensitive toothpaste that seems to dry my lips like no tomorrow. And a tube of Eucerin Aquaphor that I have had for years. Annoingly, the flip top broke months before I was done. Aquaphor is like Vaseline and great for extreme weather - chapped lips and sore skin. I have a backup tube.

Bonus empty: a 5 ml travel mini of Clarins HydraQuench. Smells pleasant, I used it on my neck. Sorry, I don't need new face products.

I too feel the need to declutter... I found out I was pregnant on Friday!!! This after one very sad MC and 9 IUIs/IVFs!!! Just hope this one sticks 🤞🏼
