I've heard mention of it on here a few times, so picked up a striped one for a song in the sale. It's the most comfortable, flattering thing, and I wish I knew about it at the start of summer, not the end.

I've just bought a black one, for winter.

Just had an electric rebate of £140, there are many other things I could buy, so I am trying to not to look at the website. The boots look lovely too....

I have two ruched skirts in white/blue stripe and blue/black stripe. Also 3 (!) Venice dresses and two Tara dresses (all bargain sale items) how horizontal stripes can be flattering I've no idea but somehow they are ! I love all these items and have only worn with bare legs, pumps or birkenstocks so far. Deffo keeping eye on forest and burgundy dresses for next promo ! I've only discovered hush this season. Couldnt justify any of it full price. I find the tops quite unflattering unfortunately and big, even in an XS. And having to pay for return postage is total pain (during sale)

I am a Hush fan. Love the ruched skirt, have 4. Bought a few t shirts in the sale, I don't think I'd pay full price for them. I've got 2 ruched dresses and love them. Oh and shorts. And harems. The only shorts I've found flattering on chunky thighs. I'm an hourglass 12, 5'8". Wouldn't wear the skirts to work though, too short. Great for casual.

Ah, a mixed bag then woowoo, I am sorry that you didn't get on with the harem pants and skirt. I'm 44 and wear the skirts loads. But you have to feel comfortable in stuff, and I think, in our 40's we know what works and what doesn't.

I'm waiting for a sale or discount code now as I have my eye on a few things.

I wore the red wrap shirt to work today. It is bit of a weird shape but tucked into my work trousers it was great. I wore a cami underneath because it's semi sheer.

I haven't worn the ruched skirt yet. I'm waiting to wear it with boots and tights and as yet an unidentitifed top to hide my tummy.

On an unrelated note, I bought a bright yellow oversized jumper from Zara. I liked it but my sons said I looked like a duck.

Ive just bought the skirt in black (m). Usually size 12.

Verdict: bit short, poss bit tight for old bird. Keeping as stretchy black skirts (of all shapes & sizes) get worn to death here- and the proportions will work with a white company beige cashmere swing sweater I have on my radar. Ebaying like mad to enable new capsule wardrobe here.

As an aside, preferred the Whisltes plain tube skirts from a couple of years back, wish they would re do them but all they have now is weird fussy striped / ribbed versions.

I have been watching this thread with interest. I found a ruched skirt in Sports Direct of all places, but it is nice, double layered although short and runs very small.

Ok, I am now sorely tempted by this wondrous skirt, as I missed out on the Boden one and I love the Boden ruched dress. I am a rather, er, hippy size 12 (I sized up in the Boden dress to a 14 and it's perfect), do you reckon the L in the Hush skirt would work?

Leedy I am also a hippy 12 and the M is perfect - I think L will be big on you. It's stretchy, and I think Hush come up big. I have the boucle skirt from this time last year which is similar, and the M is huge on me and it swivels about at the waist.
