The Hush ruched skirt.....

Is really quite awesome isn't it?

I've heard mention of it on here a few times, so picked up a striped one for a song in the sale. It's the most comfortable, flattering thing, and I wish I knew about it at the start of summer, not the end.

I've just bought a black one, for winter.

Random, pointless post really Smile

it looks lovely but would be quite short on me. does anyone know if boden do a longer length version?

Nearlyadoctor · 18/08/2016 12:46

Free delivery if your order is over £75 so I always order at least that and return some if needs be!

hollieberrie · 18/08/2016 13:01

I bought the salelicious striped one too but it just didnt suit me. Wail..
I am quite short and it seemed to just emphasise my short and chunky legs. Gutted. I might try black and see if that's any better.

Cellardoor23 · 18/08/2016 13:28

I really like the blue and white striped one but I have quite chunky thighs size 14 (pear shaped) would I look silly in it? Or could I pull it off with a baggy top?

Talisin · 18/08/2016 19:33

Got the Tara dress in green today. It's a definite keeper - it's slightly less blousey at the top than last year's burgundy and more like the spring/summer version. Tried the Claudia dress but that just looked weird and is going straight back. The Francesca skirt is another keeper (I'd advise sizing down) and I love the outline star tshirt with 3/4 length sleeves in grey/silver.

MadameCholetsDirtySecret · 18/08/2016 19:43

I'm size 10. What size hush skirt should I get?
I like the black for winter and it is very good £.

needastrongone · 18/08/2016 20:02

Cellar. I can only say that, you look at the skirt and wonder how it will look anywhere near remotely decent when on, and it somehow does. It's very forgiving. I'm a size 8, but not a young lithe aged 20 size 8 iyswim and it looks fine. I think.... The baggy top might just do it.

I'm a size 8 and got XS. Looking at the reviews might suggest a Small, but have a read, I think it might depend how tight you feel you want the skirt to be.

Off to look at the dress now....

I'm a 10/12 and could get away with the small if I had to but I prefer the medium, less chance of VPL!

hollieberrie · 18/08/2016 20:49

Has anyone tried the Venice Beach Dress? Looks lovely.

Nearlyadoctor · 18/08/2016 20:52

Good to hear it's like spring/summer version Talisin as love that dress, have ordered both green and burgundy. one will go back obviously!

Nearlyadoctor · 20/08/2016 09:57

Tara dress has arrived Forest green is a definite keeper, burgundy also nice but don't love it!

needastrongone · 20/08/2016 18:32

That's good to know, as I have ordered the forest green too. Smile

The blacked ruched skirt arrived today. It looks like a snood, but I am sure it will look lovely when it's on.

I also got a letter from Hush offering a 10% discount, AUGUST16, if you have an account I think, or maybe it will work anyway.

I have the black skirt and picked up the blue and black one in the sale, along with the matching tshirt. Love them. Saw today that they do it in burgundy too, which looks lovely for winter, but at £45 it's a big pricey.

fozzy26 · 27/08/2016 21:47

There is a £10 voucher if you use this link. I get one too. You can use it with the August16 code too.

fozzy26 · 27/08/2016 21:50

I've also just ordered the Tara dress in burgundy and the satin back shorts.

needastrongone · 28/08/2016 09:08

Thanks for the link Fozzy.

I've kept the Tara dress, but the Starburst Tee is going back, as it doesn't fit quite rightly. I am pretty (!) slim, but it seems to emphasise my tummy anyway. Smile

I'm interested but can't find any discounted ones - any links for that?

fozzy26 · 28/08/2016 09:33

This is the skirt ZaZa www.hush-uk.com/m/womenswear/daywear/skirts/modal_ruched_skirt_1_burgundy.htm

You can use the link for £10 off and discount code I posted previously.

ZaZathecat · 28/08/2016 09:40

Thanks fozzy.

fozzy26 · 29/08/2016 21:49

Has anyone tried the second skin t-shirts? Are they worth the money?

mrssiriusblack · 29/08/2016 21:58

I've never seen Hush before and it all looks lovely! I'm probably a bit too big to wear it though, I'm a size 18 at the minute (but losing weight - 3 babies in 3.5 years has taken its toll on my body Confused)

the cashmere boyfriend jumper is gorgeous too!

marmiteloversunite · 29/08/2016 22:15

Is Boden doing a ruched skirt again this season? Missed the summer one. Hush is too short for my fat knees.

fozzy26 · 30/08/2016 07:31

I don't think so Marmite. Boden are doing a ruched top but I can't see a skirt in the Autumn collection.

marmiteloversunite · 30/08/2016 07:42

Thanks Fozzy. That's a shame. Thought they might as they sold so well last season.

bearofnothingness · 30/08/2016 07:47

Hush are going to start selling in John lewis
