LUSH henna - why has it took me so long to find this fabulous stuff?

God it's amazing. Been using box dyes for ages to cover the greys in my brown hair. My hair was in terrible condition, dry, thinning, breaking off etc.
Tried the reddy brown Lush henna, it's a gorgeous colour, plus has left it really glossy, hasn't been this shiny all over since I was in my 20s.
Did it about 4 weeks ago and the colour and shine is still as good as when I first did it. Will never use a box dye again.
Promise I don't work for them, just needed to share the love!

Awake Why not try normal henna and mix it with indigo. You can buy it on the henna cat website. It also works out cheaper than lush. Its much easier to apply and easier to get out of your hair. You can buy henna indigo kits. I wouldnt use lush henna. Hopeless for the amount of grey that i had. It comes in powder, non gritty and comes out with ease.

I wouldnt use lush henna because although it has oils added to it, i really disliked the smell after a while and also its annoying having to grate it.

Clueless henna virgin here ! I've been shelling out nearly 100 quid every few weeks getting my hair dyed in the hairdressers and I'm getting barely a week before my greys start showing its becoming a waste if time and money. This thread popped up in active topics and I have to admit I'm intrigued and keen to give it a try !

I see some of you are recommending lush henna and others are saying to go with a different type ? Is it possible not to go red? I'd love a rich nut brown colour as I feel it suits my colouring better than reddish colours.Any tips much appreciated Flowers
