Hello girls. Merry Christmas to all 😃.

Lurking and one day might have the courage to join. In the meantime, I am stuck on jeans. Where are you all on flares? I'm googling skinny Marrakesh and J Brand Embrace and really not sure. I have a thrifted pair and and am not reaching for them, but I suspect that it's because the shape is just not right.

Morning all SmileXmas Smile frosty here.
Lovely links QueenC

Welcome Ufyourehappy can I call you if? haven't done flares yet scared but I tried on high st a lot as I do before committing to new trends and found RIsland had good fit for me shortages think Fedup had success in Next. Just think it's a question of trying on loads with the fight footwear until you find the pair that suit you.

QueenC · 13/12/2015 09:25

Hi if and welcome Xmas Smile. Ive got gap skinny flares which fit well but ive only worn 2 or 3 times. I like them when I put them on and I have a whole pin board dedicated to flares but somehow they just don't seem to work in reality. I think a lot depends where you live. It's still skinnies here, even the fashion forward students haven't embraced flares, and so I just feel feel that I'm in dated boot cuts if I wear them out.

Thanks girls. You can call me 'if' of course.

Try them on. Yes. Good point. I need to do that. Haven't actually tried that many on irl. I tried on some Bell Canyons a while back and they were great but pricey so I didn't get them. Then I saw a pair of J Brand Embrace ones last week and swooned.

And yes, in my thrifted ones they do feel like dated boot cuts actually.

I'm going to hunt for a good shape I think somehow and try on loads. I need new jeans - always wear skinnies but they are wearing out and there must be another way I think somehow.

I feel the. Same QueenC although AA v fashion savvy friend has been wearing hers and looking great

AmberNectarine · 13/12/2015 10:08

I'm a bit over flares now. Did them a bit at the beginning of the year (just TS Jamie ones) but quickly got bored. The shoe options are limiting.
