Imgoing to get some after work. It can't work. But I'm willing to try. (After the disappointment of the clarins thing )

I think you are right CMP69. It definitely takes a day or so for the colour to develop on me. It is definitely a fair persons brown too.

I love the colour. But I've never used 'proper' fake tan - they terrify me! I'm quite fair skinned with bluey white legs and though I want some colour I really don't want people to notice a dramatic difference. So it suits me fine.

lem73 · 10/06/2015 17:38

I've been using it for a week now (about 4 applications) and I am starting to get a bit of colour. As I just wanted a healthy colour, I'm quite satisfied.

Germgirl · 10/06/2015 17:50

Can you use it straight away after shaving your legs do you think? I usually shave them in the shower.

spookyskeleton · 10/06/2015 17:58

I started using this last Friday and I am a total convert!! I did one application on Friday night and I woke up on Sat morning looking slightly tanned. Did a second application on Sunday night and I looked properly tanned on Monday morning Smile Did it again this morning just to keep it topped up. It really is a lovely colour and had worked really well on my face.

No streaks/patches, so easy to apply however it does smell of fake tan so not totally perfect but I can live with that Grin

MrsUltracrepidarian · 10/06/2015 18:38

Have been lurking watching with interest - and just seen is in stock at my local Boots, so will go tomorrow - baaaaa!

Cockbollocks · 10/06/2015 20:21

Will be trying this as 1/3 off all St Tropez in Boots. Smile

AnonyMusty · 11/06/2015 21:01

Anyone find it any good? I used it to top up a spray tan so can't see a difference.

Vivacia · 11/06/2015 21:05

Yes, it's too pricey for long term use for me, and it's a gradual thing, but I definitely have a warm glow.

Truckingalong · 12/06/2015 08:47

It's so easy to apply and I love being able to wash it off and not spend all day/night feeling tacky but it does smell and its very subtle and I like to go mahogany from 1 application. I'll keep going though cos it's so easy to use.

NapoleonsNose · 12/06/2015 18:48

So far, three applications in, and I'm not hugely impressed. I think its taken the deathly white/blue shade out of my skin, but I certainly don't look golden. I was hoping this was going to be the holy grail of fake tans - easy to apply, no streaks and a nice colour, so I'm a bit disappointed.

ScarlettDarling · 12/06/2015 22:33

I've used it twice now with no colour change AT ALL!

I've just watched the YouTube vid on how to apply and see that it's meant to lather up? It doesn't lather up on me...just stays creamy and sinks in a bit as the 3 mins pass.

How do I get it to lather? I so want this stuff to be good, it's so easy to use!

NapoleonsNose · 12/06/2015 22:52

I've just watched a Youtube vid where someone has been using this every day. She is now on day 13 and the difference between the earlier days and now is quite striking. She also found that you need to use A LOT of product to get the best result. Looks like it might be quite an expensive habit to maintain!

BuntyBoogaloo · 12/06/2015 23:23

So sorry if this has already been mentioned but I've not read the full thread yet.
I've used it a few times with satisfactory but not amazing results. I find it really drying. My skin is on the dry side anyway, so I usually use a lot of body cream after a shower.
After using the tan in the morning, my skin is reptilian by the evening!
Have any of you used a moisturiser after towelling off? If so, did it affect the colour?
TIA

CMP69 · 13/06/2015 09:16

Bunty I was just coming on to say that my arms have gone all flaky. I've been slathering on the soap and glory and they seem better, but I am a lovely light golden brown so I'm happy Smile

spookyskeleton · 13/06/2015 20:47

Scarlett mine doesn't lather up, it stays creamy and then disappears and I have had excellent results Smile

BuntyBoogaloo · 13/06/2015 20:57

CMP - is that straight after you've dried off, or later in the day?
I've not applied it for a few days and been slapping on the cream to sort out my skin!

Ohmymg · 13/06/2015 21:01

I'm quite underwhelmed, I've used it 5 times in a week and can barely see a change Sad

I also noticed that the bottle is almost empty and it would cost a fortune to keep topped up.

Probably back to instant tan(extra cheap stuff too) for me. I'll YouTube now to make sure I'm doing it right- def no lathering to speak of here

TealFanClub · 13/06/2015 21:55

agree

CMP69 · 13/06/2015 22:42

Not much lathering here but we have hard water. Bunty I do the moisturising either later or a different day. I'm still a bit brown on application every 2-3 days

TealFanClub · 14/06/2015 11:28

News. You can do your legs and top of your chest while sitting in the bath. Rest on your bum with your legs up near the taps. That said I won't be re purchasing

NapoleonsNose · 14/06/2015 11:40

I'm five days in now and I'm beginning to look a bit tanned. I like that its very easy to apply, I don't seem to be streaky and it doesn't smell much, if at all on me anyway. I don't like the cost - I've nearly finished one tube already and not sure I could afford to keep it up, particularly as it seems to take several applications to make much of a difference on my skin and the shivery bit waiting for the developing time. Not sure if I'll keep buying it. I think I prefer the St Tropez mousse which is more expensive but I think will last longer and has quicker results.

Vivacia · 14/06/2015 12:11

I tried the Cocoa Brown 1 hour and it appeared to be good coverage with no streaks.

Whatever though. There's no way in a million years my legs are going to have that air-brushed look. I'm blotchy and bruised and no fake tan or pert bum exercises is going to change that Sad

Misslgl88 · 15/06/2015 12:21

I've ordered some of this but up until now I've been using garnier summer body gradual tanner which is starting to look a nice colour, can I use this next time I shower or will it go a funny colour?

frankietwospots · 15/06/2015 14:32

I've been alternating between St Tropez shower and the Clarins glow booster drops and the colour is fine, so I would have thought you'd be fine with the Garnier.

Misslgl88 · 15/06/2015 17:06

Thanks frankie picking up tomorrow so will report back, got it for £9.70 in boots as others have said may be an expensive upkeep so will probably go back to my garnier
