I have just left TK Maxx with some bargain Lancaster sun lotion and after sun. A pair of sparkly Kurt Geiger flip flops. A loose white linen Calvin Klein shirt. 2 little Esprit sun dresses. Still got change from £100 quid!

Our local branch of TKMaxx is hideous, horrible fluorescent lighting, everything higgledy-piggledy, most of whats in there seems to be scruffy, cheap looking tat. I occasionally go to an out of town branch which is totally different, has a much more upmarket vibe about it. I've never bought anything much in either, one bag, a few kids toys, never clothes.

TK Maxx is on the good list for me too - I've had lovely and bargainous shoes and knitwear from there.

Are you sure they were ginger breads? Were they actually blocks of soap, Debris?
